Fit as expected... Med fits probably from 31-35" (I wear 33). They do have drawstring for secure fit. The padding in the hips is nice... thin, but it absorbs a little impact as you dive, and saves your hips from hard-ground bruises. These are more functional in hot weather than the full-length goalie pants I have from Reusch, and seem to be just as well made. As the weather gets cooler, I'll probably wear these padded shorts under the padded full-length pants for extra protection?

As an avid footballer who plays 3-4 times per week as a part-time goalkeeper, these were a great value with a classic look; and at my age (42), the generous hip padding helps. I only wear them on a natural pitch (I always wear pants on turf) and show no signs of wear so far.

I purchased the shorts for my son. He has been using them for approximately 3 weeks. The padding has helped with the diving and protection. They wash great. No shrinking.

Bought these shorts to use for practices. After the first dive, I was impressed with the hip padding. The hip padding covers both outside parts of your leg. The sizes run long. I am usually an XL but a L fit me great. Great comfort in the waist. I was very impressed with the Reusch product. I buy all my gloves from Reusch, and now I will buy training shorts too. WELL DONE REUSCH!

Shorts are very nice. Enty of room for shorts other additional padding beneath if desired. Great value, durable on turf!

Son says these are great for soccer goal keeping.

Decent goalkeeper shorts for the price. Fit true to size, I am 5' 10" 150lbs with 31 inch waist and got them in Medium. Padding is minimal. I suggest wearing protective undershorts with these, especially if you're playing on hard surfaces.
