I installed heated grips which helped, but I needed more insulation on the back of the hands. I decided to give snowmobile gloves a try and selected the 509's because of their 1:4 ratio of insulation on the palms versus the backs. Tested them today at a speed of 70 mph and temperatures below 32 degrees. My fingertips still got a little chilled, but not like the pain before the gloves. Also, they are incredibly supple and conformed nicely to the motorcycle grips.
