I found you get a lot of the material falls off when using these.

This sander worked well. The Cost was reasonable and Saved me a lot of cleanup time of sheet rock dust; otherwise, there would have been all over the house. I recommend this sander.

Just what I needed. they do the job and very little dust when attached to the vac.

Fortunately for me, the DIY I was working on was a voiceover conversion project involving a downstairs closet. If I’ve been working on a more public area of the house with the screens, I would probably still be spitting nails.At this point I had allowed a third coat of “Plaster” (joint compound) to dry for just over 10 days at 30% humidity… It was dry!The goal was to smooth down any rough areas that had resulted from the plastering. I started with the 220 grit screen -6 lateral foot section of my 6 1/2 foot wall. It initially seem to be doing a very nice job.By the time I reached the 6th foot, I was noticing a slight additional resistance feel. I noted that a wire was coming loose on one side. I used green painters tape to hold back both long edges of the screen to fix that issue, and hopefully head off others.As I got into about the second lateral foot of the next wall, the resistance started again. I now noticed parallel grooves being cut about 1/8th to 16th inch deep in my Plaster. Looking at the screen, additional where out was occurring on a bigger scale. I also now noticed scratching was occurring on the last couple feet of the initial 6 foot lateral stretch.I switched out to a 120 screen and continued to see how it would perform. I was able to light sand approximately 18 lateral feet before the problem occurred again.This is my first time using screens with a vacuum based plaster sander. I’m not sure how long these things are supposed to last, but I certainly anticipated much better performance, and a longer life, than I am experiencing.

well... it does the work... it's a 120 but for me is more into the 180, doesn't last too long but you can use the other side of the mesh...I think is ok for the price

Does not last, spend a bit more and get a better quality product
