I actually bought this to tone down the brightness of a synthetic wig and make it more like my natural hair that I lost during chemo. It worked like a charm.

I was suspicious of whether this product would work for blonde hair to cover dark roots -- since no product, unless it LIFTS color first, can lighten dark hair. Well, suspicions confirmed -- it doesn't work at all if your objective is to cover dark roots on blonde hair. I tested it on a small portion of my hair -- my blonde hair turned orange and the dark roots were the same exact dark color! Fortunately, it washes right out so I got rid of the orange right away. There are several reviews saying it worked but honestly, I don't see how that's possible. You simply cannot make dark hair lighter unless you lift the color first (with peroxide or similar). I knew this but chose to believe this fiction so I'm out $10 bucks. Shame on L'Oreal, I thought they were more reputable than this. The product may work fine for dark hair when you're trying to rid grey or white roots. But not for blondes with dark roots!! Save your money!

Sprays and covers the gray nicely but it doesn't look natural. Looks too yellow. They need to change the formula color and add some violet to make it more natural blonde. I have dark blonde hair with golden blonde highlights but even this formula is too yellow for me.

I’ve been using this since it first came out. I’ve always purchased from local store. Wonderful. I decided to order online from Amazon. Received and used. What I got is ORANGE. (Medium blonde). I was flabbergasted. Of course, not exchangeable or returnable. I tried to get product support. Absolutely NO luck. Upset and angry. Was sent a faulty item. My husband is still laughing at my orange hair. Must go and try to wash it out.

The L’Oreal Paris Magic Root Cover Up Concealer Spray is amazing! It works so well for quick root touch-ups, especially for my medium blonde hair. The spray is easy to apply, and it blends seamlessly, leaving no harsh lines or obvious color. Plus, it’s ammonia and peroxide-free, which is a nice bonus. It’s a must-have for maintaining your blonde color between salon visits!

For effectiveness it was ok. It works but be careful bcs one weong move your roots are suuuuper oramge and it does not fix. If you spray too close it all sprays in one spot so the color is awful and you cant brush it or blend to try to reduce mistake it diesnt budge. It does help if your so careful about application though. My roots were terrible and i had an event before i could get my hair done.. It ismt perfect and definitely not a spot on match but helos reduce the drastic color difference by lighting your roots a bit. You will look like a clown if you domt keep your spray at the right distance so be warned. You waste a lot of this tiny bottle by trying to get used to how to apply- trial and error and theres not enough in this bottle to allow for that. The bottle is so tiny and I got one almost complete use from it. It started running out before i was finished with my 1st application. In part i did make a mistke and sprayed too close so wasted some by applying too much in one area, but it still wouldnt have lasted for a 2nd application even without that happening. its a one time use bottle.

Color is called medium blonde, but appears much more orange than blonde.

I really like this spray for a quick touchup. I ordered blonde. When spraying around the hairline use a tissue to prevent colour getting to skin. It’s a really great product if you are in between hair appointments and need a touched up and until you can see your hairstylist.

I've used the clairol medium blonde spray for a few years and it's great....this is not a match to that At all for any medium blonde people. It sprayed out orange! Ewww

Received this product today. The ad is misleading. It states the colour is blonde. It is orange!! Buyer beware. Amazon will not let you return it. Terrible product!

I didn't like the feeling of it on my hair. the color was supposed to be light but it was very dark on my hair. If I weren't lazy I would have returned it bcoz I'm never gonna use it again
