If your job has you down on your knees, you need this product
Today's work boots are expensive, so if you work on your knees all day like I do, you will burn the steel right out of your boots in a very short time. I first saw this product in action while I was working in a basement next to the HVAC guy, his boots had this weird black coating on the toes. When I asked what it was, he told me about this product. He also gave me the best directions for application. I ordered up a kit and followed his directions to the tee. I am amazed just how well it holds up to the abuse I give my boots, and they look good too. This product works best on new, unsealed boots but with a little prep will work on any boots. Old boot prep starts with a good wire brushing, a brass brush works best as it is not too aggressive, but a stainless brush will work, just use less pressure. I prefer the "toothbrush" size brushes because you have more control. After the brushing, use an old toothbrush to remove the leather residue. You can skip this step on new "unsealed boots", you will need to do it if your boots have been sealed. Next, try to find where the top inside edge of the steel toe ends, just below the laces. Apply two layers of "BLUE or FROG" tape along the "lace side" of the steel toe, use a rag to rub the tape down tight against the boot, especially along the stitching at the soles. Your prep is now complete. Following the product installation instructions, apply a thick even coat, you may need a toothpick or popsicle stick to spread the material around "A LITTLE", do not push it around too much, it self-levels. I believe the cure time is 6-12 hours, but if you can give it a full day before you put it to the test it would be better. I am on my third pair of boots using this product and still love it.

Great for roller derby skates! Better than toe caps!
Love this stuff! I use it on my roller derby skates and apply it to all the skate boots in our Junior derby league’s gear library. It’s so much better than toe caps because it doesn’t interfere with lacing or to secure toe stop hardware. If it ever wears through or detaches, I can just scuff and reapply. Best on boots and shoes with a closed toe box (as opposed to ones that have lacing and tongue going all the way down the toe box.

Works
Worked for a while but after a while it started to break apart I would probably buy more cause it did extend the lift of the boots

Boot life extension!
Everything is included! Easy to use. Sets up quickly. Shop floors can be rough on the boots when you get on your knees a lot, boot toes were the first to go. Decided to give it a shot and I was pleasantly satisfied with the results.
