This Panasonic cordless phone system works great and is very easy to set up. The call quality is excellent with clear sound and minimal background noise. Having multiple handsets around the house is extremely convenient, especially for bedrooms, the living room, and the office. The battery life is good, the buttons are easy to use, and the overall build quality feels reliable. A great choice for anyone looking for a dependable home phone system. Highly recommended!

I bought these to replace V tech phones which died one by one. So far these are good although I rarely use the landline phones anymore. They are easy to set up and easy to use.

Replaced the older version with this one. Same great look and functionality. The phones do seem to work better - sound is better. The biggest negative is the main console they made the buttons harder to push for calling out - otherwise would give it a 5. Easy to set up with no issues.

Bought this set of 5 phones as used/excellent & did not disappoint. Package obviously opened & phones had been used as there were calls in the memory. However, the handsets look like new and all the bits seem to be present. Came in what appears to be the original box & whoever put everything back in it is good as it is a real jigsaw puzzle to get everything to fit back in the box. Had a set of Panasonic portable phones (6 handsets) for easily 15 years & was happy with them. Only reason for replacing was the plug in for the power cord on the base unit got wonky & sometimes made contact/sometimes not. So, looked for something similar to replace. This set (KX-TGE645) is about as close as I could get. It has some nice upgrade features (like announcing who is calling or a number if no name) and the information in the display screen is bigger. Would have liked to get something with 6 handsets but 5 seems to be the max for a system and not going to pay just south of 1/2 of what I paid for the 5 handset system for one handset. Still getting used to the new system but the basics are there so at this point in the systems very young life, seems like Panasonic still is, for me, the brand to buy.

My phone set appeared to be refinished but it works okay. It is hooked up and working but I would have preferred a better quality like I am use to from this brand.

We purchased this to replace an old, but similar Panasonic phone. The batteries in the handset were only staying charged for about 2 days before it said 'low battery'. Since this is a similar phone and newer technology, I expected the batteries to last longer. I took the AAA batteries out and compared them against the batteries from the old phone. The capacity of the old batteries is 400 mah, and the new batteries are 300 mah. No wonder! Only 3/4 of the capacity! Panasonic cheaped out to save a few cents on the price of the (Panasonic) batteries. I can replace them with hgher capacity cells, but I should not need to do that!

I bought this to replace a similar setup which I had had and been using for years (at least 10), after the old system's base unit started to malfunction and lose range. This one works very well, with clear transmission and reception all through my 2300 sq ft single story house and its similar sized basement. That is particularly noteworthy since (because of where the cable modem with the phone connection is located) the base unit is located on the outside wall of an office at one corner of the house. I don't use many of the more obscure features of the phone, but it stores more than sufficient numbers in its phone book and allows the setting of different ring tones for different groups via caller ID. The intercom feature also works well.

I hate to say this, but this is the worst phone system I have ever used. When it works, it sounds fine. When it doesn't work, it's infuriating. The fully-charged battery pack lasts about a day or less. The system frequently (daily) gives message of 'Power Outage' or 'Base Unreachable' or similar. I always thought Panasonic is among the very best phone systems and other products too, but this one is a disaster.

cet article ne répond pas aux critères que j'attendais, dont lumière clignotante à l'arrière du tél. quand messages. Téléphone qui dit à voix haute le nom de l'appel entrant et seulement deux langues programmables sauf français.

Funcionan muy bien, tienen buen alcance, la duración de la batería es de 2 o 3 días utilizándolo en promedio una hora diaria.

Phones ok...customer service nonexistant
