Monopoly Gamer Sonic The Hedgehog Edition Board Game for Kids Ages 8 and up; Sonic Video Gamer Themed Board Game

This is a great spin off of the original Monopoly game featuring Sonic the Hedgehog. My son loves it and has spent every night playing it. Unlike the original Monopoly it doesn't last as long because there are 'boss battles' as a player passes go. Once all the bosses have been defeated the game ends and the player with the most points is the winner. The rules are a little complicated at first but after a few games it is very easy to play. It comes with two dice, one which gives you special abilities (e.g. collect 5 rings, add 2 to your numbered roll etc) and one numbered dice which starts at 2 and goes to 7. You collect rings instead of money as you pass go or from other players. We have found the game very useful for maths skills because often you have to add two numbers together to find out how many squares to move. I would definitely recommend it for Sonic fans but please be aware it is very different to the original Monopoly.

My daughter loves this, its a good tweak on the normal monopoly and the pieces are great for my daughter to play with as toys

This is super cool. Got it for my little brothers Christmas and we had such fun playing it. The rules are a lot more confusing that normal monopoly but still super fun and the figures look amazing.

Kids love playing this version of monopoly and the great thing is it does go on for hours like the original version, once GO has been passed 10 times (from memory) the game ends and points are added up

I don't know what to say really because, although the game itself is somewhat laborious and not exactly fluid, there is something very endearing about the whole thing........maybe its just the nostalgia value.Having played the game once or twice there is little incentive to play it again........it doesn't have the same longevity that monopoly has, that's for sure.The board and the pieces are well constructed so it is worth the money you pay....... i gave it 4 stars overall due to the lack of longevity

Great game. Very different to the normal monopoly and it took a while to get the hang of it. Downside is it’s only for 4 playersGood fun though.
