I brought these fingertip protectors to help me stop biting my nails and not for the intended purpose of playing the guitar.If like me you are a serial nail biter and you want to break the habit, I would seriously consider buying this product. I’ve bitten my nails for almost 20 years and I’ve tried almost everything under the sun to stop but nothing ever worked. I found that combining these fingertip protectors with Mavala Stop (that horrid nail polish) I haven’t bitten my nails in over a month which is groundbreaking for me!I don’t use the fingertip protectors all the time but I find them particularly useful when I’m stressed or watching the football. They work a treat! I only thing I would say is the biggest size supplied isn’t quite big enough for my thumb so it does become a little uncomfortable after a 90 minute football game. Small price to pay for a cheap and effective solution to stopping nail biting!

Due to a hand disability I use touch screen technology and the Finger protectors are very comfortable and a secure fit to protect fingers from touch screen friction and does reduce the burning sensation.

They work but I couldn’t get on with them. But I can see how it would be useful for some.

I have played guitar for many years, steel string acoustic.I recently damaged the index finger of my fretting hand with partial removal of nail and pad of the finger.these Thought I would give these protectors a go to get me back playing earlier.What a surprise they do the job so effectively, excellent protection, the holes in them allow the injury to breath. The range of sizes enables you to select the size which is a very tight, which can prevent muting of other strings. Also great for computer key pads and other household tasks.Not convinced for using them as an aid to new guitarists preventing sore fingers, but certainly if an individual finger becomes sore for any reason.

Tried these and they are uncomfortable and fall of. I found it almost impossible to play accurately with them. The hole design catches the strings

Varied sizes which was very good. I liked the clear colour as it is less noticeable for people watching. Yes, excellent value for money and very comfortable.

Fitted poorly and were uncomfortable to wear and use.

My nails keep checking and flaking. I've made up some cream with lanolin, beeswax and a host of other cream as. I need to keep the cream on as long as possible at night so these fingers do help. They're a bit hot for CV really hot nights but otherwise fine. My nails are in much better shape now!I've tried virtually every other cream but this and the fingers have made a great improvement to my nails
