Horrid Install Directions
The vendor was fine as we received everything just fine and in a very timely manner. I actually ordered 4 of these panic push bar eventually and got them installed. The problem centered around the instructions and they had to be some of the worst instructions ever. The instructions were vague enough to fit many possible applications and lacked many basic details.Pros:1. Easy to setup and install if you have done one of these before or if you are mechanically minded. [I'm a read the instructions and do it . . . but if the instructions are bad well I have to research it.]Cons:1. Lots of extra hardware and parts for specific applications not mentioned in the instructions.2. Categorically the worst instructions ever.I eventually used the instructions and YouTube video of installation from another manufacturer's website because Cal-Royal's website stinks. Once I finally saw what to do with the deadlatch, the install wasn't too bad. However, because of the poor instructions I literally spent 3-4 hours studying the device, combing thru Cal-Royal's website, calling Cal-Royal CSR and I got someone in New Delhi, and this Googling panic bar installations. Again, the vendor wasn't the problem, just the item.

Decent product overall. Instructions stink. Paid someone to install it. I would recommend who ever buys this they do the same unless your very mechanicly inclined. If you have a older metal door like I did I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself.

Ok for seldom used doors
Better suited for lower traffic entry. Probably not durable enough for high traffic applications.
