My wall has 22" studs. This mount fits perfectly.

Was skeptical on if this would hold our rather large tv, but it proved me wrong. It was excellent quality and easy to install. Everything we needed was included and my husband was able to have it up more quickly than I expected.

I am NOT someone you’d consider “handy” by any means. But putting this together and on my wall was a breeze! Would have given 5⭐️ but you need to buy a special tool to put the final wall screws in—and this was not listed in the Amazon post either, nor do you really know until the end of the instructions. Overall, great buy otherwise.

Love it and very easy to assemble hung a 75 in

Mounting my 75" above my fireplace turned from being an afternoon job, to being a 2 week event...let me explain.It is paramount to ensure that any bracket you select is anchored into your wall studs to ensure the MOST secure method for hanging your expensive TV. Typically studs are 16" off center from the next when builders frame a home. If you find the center of one stud, you should be able to measure 16" and find the center of the next one. But not always.My project was supposed to be an easy mount, however even while using a stud finder I ran into issues finding studs that were 16" apart. I thought something was wrong with me, or that perhaps my stud finder wasn't working properly because the spacing in between studs was so odd. Well turns out I had two issues, 1. I was mounting on an outside was full of insulation (which I knew) and that makes it a little more difficult for the stud finder to judge mass. 2. My studs above the fireplace were not even CLOSE to being spaced evenly or properly! I initially tried to spot check for the studs, sometimes I got it and others I thought I found one but it was either just dry wall or the edge of a stud. This was frustrating. I didn't want to take the chance so I cut the drywall out in the area where the bracket would go so I could for sure hit the stud on center.Well great idea, except my spacing was like 23" and 22" apart and only one stud was center to the fireplace meaning that hanging the TV would be it would be off center to the fireplace and room! Plus the bracket only covered a 16" gap, it wasn't long enough even with the extender.Thankfully this product allows you to attach multiple brackets to create a longer run! I purchased two brackets and used both extenders to cover the area. Once the brackets were anchored with the toggle bolts, I was able to slide the TV and position it to look center even though the mount is not quite center! But no one will ever know...(except you because you've read this.) This was a great product and the versatility of it came in handy. Even though the TV can swing or swivel, it does have a bit of a downward tilt which is great for viewing because who's really going to swivel a 75" TV often or at all. This is a great product, you may need to fight with your set up depending on your home construction, but save yourself a few hundred bucks and be proud that you tackled something for yourself!
