DW3261 Smart Steam Iron

I love this iron. I was very skeptical of the auto temperature set feature, but I have been won over. Rowenta always makes amazing, durable, quality irons, but this one is great. Steam is fantastic and you don’t get the little spits.

The iron works very well and heats up quickly. It is comfortable to hold and glides smoothly over fabric. I am very happy with its performance and the results after ironing. The only issue is the packaging. The product box arrived looking untidy and not well presented. The iron itself is excellent, but the factory packaging could be improved. Because of the packaging condition, I would not recommend it as a gift item. Overall, I am very satisfied with the iron and would recommend it for personal use.

I am a fan of Rowenta irons, but this one really sucks. It spits and spews water constantly. Not liking this one!

I love this iron. I’ve had mine for several years and I just bought one for my granddaughter who’s getting her first apartment. No guessing on what setting to put it on. Just add water, turn it on, and press.

I love the steam in this iron. Makes ironing so easy. Heats up quickly. Definitely worth the money.

Iron is really heavy ( even without the water, for steam) it does shut off automatically and the price is good but I don't like the heaviness

Not working as expected. When plugged, a foul smell of burnt wire comes and some sound “poc-poc” . I’m not using it being afraid of not causing short cut of electricity. And is not ironing as described, when I’ve tried it first time. Waste of money

Works very well, just as other reviewers have said. It's really nice not having to fuss around with fabric-specific settings and thus far this iron has worked well on everything we've thrown at it. Other reviewers have complained about the darkness of the water tank and how difficult it is to see how much water is in there -- it's true, it's very difficult to see how much water has been added and I'm surprised this obvious "design defect" made it into the final product. However, per the instructions, you're supposed to empty the iron after each use -- we have a little container that holds just the right amount of water for the tank, so it's easy for us to judge how much we've added, so not a deal stopper at all IMHO.

I've the fact that you can iron everything from silk to linen without ever scorching or burning the fabrics. It's so convenient to get the perfect results without ever having to change the settings. Heats up in seconds and recommended water for use is tap water. Love this iron
