This is a pretty good chemistry that does make the water very clear and brings your phosphate levels down significantly. Having a pool in a got and humid climate with flies and plants all around, but also having poor work-life balance, i always get snuck up on by a phosphate bloom that causes a massive algae bloom with green water.To make it work, basically you test your phosphate level and determine where you are, and that your other levels are in check. You check the chart on the back and determine how much you need to put in. Then slowly pour the required amount down the skimmer, and keep the pump running for 48 hours. If all went well, your water will be as clear and clean looking as the day day it was poured in. It seems to last well, too if you keep on the maintenance.A must for a Florida pool with plants and bugs too close to it.

It's a great chemical for your pool to help control algae but expensive and you must use it consistently. I use it only during the summer months when algae can be a problem and don't use it weekly as recommended. Easy to pour into skimmer.
