I bought this so my partner can maintain my undercut without me paying £5 each time at a barber. Works fine. Haven't charged it since I bought it a few months ago. Use it every 2 weeks.

I've had the clippers for one week, and used them three times on different types of hair. I don't know anything about hair-cutting, and this is the first time I've used clippers. Overall, they work extremely well and are very easy to use. I'm happy with them, and look forward to keeping my hair and my family's hair neat and tidy during lockdown, and perhaps beyond.PROS- very solidly built; feels reassuringly heavy in the hand and has a good balance.- good range of accessories, including clipper guards for all useful lengths, plus scissors and comb.- easy to use; with the guards seems foolproof even for the least experienced user - I even did the back of my head effectively (with a mirror), and at all sorts of awkward angles these cut cleanly and evenly.- cuts effectively for different hair types - my own thick and curly (can use clippers right up back and sides, even a bit on top for trimming), my wife's long fine hair (she won't let me near the expensively layered front and sides, but effectively tidied up the back of her head), and my son's unruly wavy long hair (back and sides, he insists on keeping it long on top, so used scissors there).CONS- like some other reviewers, I found it very hard to open the clippers for cleaning. You need to pull at the cutting head with such force you think it'll break. It doesn't, but be careful not to cut yourself! Perhaps this will loosen up in time?- the bag is cheaply made and fairly useless; would much prefer something with sections to keep cutting guides in order, and clippers, comb, scissors and oil in separate compartments.I've not done much research on this (I'm sure there are better clippers, but doubtless at a much higher price), but have had a Renpho scales for several months, and it's been brilliant, so went for this straight away when requested to test it by the manufacturer. Please note that I've purchased the clippers myself and my review is impartial. For a beginner who wants to try out cutting or trimming their own hair, at a fairly low cost, these seem ideal.

Hopefully they will soon be back on sale on Amazon as at the time of writing this review they are unavailable.I have never owned a pair of hair clippers before but because of the 'lock down' due to the Coronavirus and the current closure of our local barbers, I decided to have a go myself. Well this RENPHO Hair Clippers for Men Cordless Trimmer Professional USB Rechargeable Grooming Cutting Kit purchase has been a pleasant surprise. Firstly, you get everything you need including a pair of scissors for your hair, a small plastic container of lubricating oil as well as the charger with a UK plug, a stand and six different hair comb guides (plus a slim travel case and some instructions). The unit itself is nicely weighted and balanced. It takes only a couple of hours to charge the unit and it holds the charge for around 30-40 minutes. It has a ceramic cutting blade rather then a metal (steel?) one.Now a small word of caution ... be careful with the oil. You literally only need a couple of drops so when you come to pierce the container to allow the oil to flow out, use the thinnest pin you can find for the job, otherwise you may find you have sloshed too much on the unit (as I did) and then need to mop it off before you cut your hair.Finally, if you are new at this 'cut your own hair' lark, then have a look on google and you will find many 'how to' videos to help you. I took the easiest way out and opted for a 'buzz' cut (google it too if you don't know this term). However, my wife would probably add a note of caution here ... start with the largest / longest cutting blade. It is easy to cut your hair shorter but you have to wait for it to grow back if you have been a little too gung-ho in selecting a shorter style cutting comb!

We’ve had plenty of hair clippers until now but none of them were cordless and we didn’t expect a cordless hair clipper to be so powerful!The product came the next day, there were no issues with the delivery. In the pack you can find the hair clippers along with a charging cord (the hair clippers are cordless which is amazingly convenient as we don’t have a plug in the bathroom where we usually use hair clippers). My partner has used it daily and the clippers are still charged after one week of use! You can also find in the pack 6 number for the clippers along with hair scissors, a brush for cleaning at and oil to maintain it clean. You’ll also find a manual and a warranty that you have to activate! There is also a cute little black storage bag that fits everything that the package contains.The hair clippers are powerful and precise. My flatmate who has no experience in hair cutting gave me the haircut in the picture using a few tutorials on YouTube and these clippers and I have to admit that it was amazing! Did not expect such good results. Saved me a few quid from going to the barbers haha! The fact that it’s cordless is a huge advantage as the best mirror we have is in the bathroom, but we don’t have any plugs there.The downside though, as we’ve seen already in the reviews are the scissors that are a little flimsy and not sharp enough to define the hair as well as the comb that its not sturdy enough to grab only the amount of hair you need to trim.Overall, comparing the price and experience and quality we’ve encountered, I must say that the products is worth it! Would definitely recommend to professionals, but not only, novices can use it as well!
