XS Scuba Compass Module

Hey, a compass that actually works underwater. What a concept! I was really frustrated with the previous compass I bought. It would seem to be level, and seem to settle in a direction, but then as I'm kicking along, it would suddenly get unstuck and rotate a quarter turn. I also had some issues with rental gear compasses. This thing works great! Rotates very freely. And it's super easy to tell when it's level in all directions.

I'm always frustrated by dive compasses and how you have to keep them pretty much perfectly level for them to work. That's not always possible underwater. With the XS Supertilt Compass, you can have this at more extreme angles and the compass will still track properly, which is very convenient given the situations you could be in while diving. Especially given the price, where is is actually less expensive than most other compass modules that need to be level to work, there's no reason not to get this one.

Its an ok compass that seems to work. It does lockup at times and that's why I gave it 3 stars. I will also add that it does fit in the back of the aqualung console.Don't forget to hit the helpful button

The media could not be loaded. Out of the box I was sent a unit for the Southern Hemisphere. I needed Northern Hemisphere. 0 for North. Bad dive compass out of the box. The card is not counterweighted in the south (0 degree side).One must tilt the compass to level the card when viewing from the side window and top and any tilt at all effects the desired bearing.There is a reason this unit is 8 bucks. I’m going to buy the Suunto SK8 to go with my console. Peace.

I didn't want an expensive dive compass, this one worked just great for a reasonable price. I mounted to a standard rubber wrist strap using cable ties and wore it on our last dive trip. Went down to 110 feet and it worked without any problems. Very happy with this purchase.

Was perfect for my replacement. only draw back is it needs to beheld a little higher in order to read it easily.

First of all, I like XS Scuba Compass Modules because I use one to teach with; however, I ordered two of these modules and when received, one in particular had a large air bubble that definitely interfered with correct readings. Second, the one pictured has two red lubber lines down the middle, which I have a teaching point using those two lubber lines (and my compass I use to teach with also has two red-lubber lines). The two modules I received only has one red lubber line. Even the seller answered one of my questions that it is as pictured, which they were not. So, I'm returning both of them and will buy from another source.

Worked great underwater during multiple ocean dives. Light up with dive light and stayed lit for many minutes. Easy to read above and below water. Placed it in my console and really like it.
