Good for people who know how to use it
Works great for cleaning up my and my kids' blades. I was a competitive figure skater and skating coach for a long time, so I know how to use the stone...wouldn't recommend for general population since you can really mess your blades up if you're not careful. Took a star off because shipping took a ridiculously long time.

Great honing stone
Great honing stone. Did not come in the holder sleeve as depicted in picture, but a clear plastic bag worthless for storage... would have given 5 stars if it came with storage sleeve.

Great Hand Stone
This super fine stone replenishes the clean, sharp edge after a few hours of skate time. It definitely allows you to maximize the skate time between sharpenings at the Pro Shop. I've used many "Edge" products from the Magic Stick, Re-Edger, to the Edge. This hand stone when used properly gives me the most clean and super crisp edges.
