Colavita Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP - Signature Edition 2-Pack, 34 oz Bottles, Aged in Wooden Casks, Smooth & Velvety, Ideal for Hot Foods & Salads

We have purchased a two-pack of the Colavita Balsamic vinegar on several occasions and as a gift. It was a large quantity of vinegar 34 fl. oz. for a very good price. The vinegar itself was some of the best I have ever had. Both of my children (19 and 9) are obsessed with Balsamic. My son has received a bottle in his stocking for about 17 years. Now my daughter is also addicted to it. So we are kind of experts...I am also a nutritionist with a lot of experience evaluating flavor. The balsamic we purchased was sweet with the acidity hitting later. It was thicker than regular balsamic vinegar but not like a glaze. It was excellent quality. We have tried to re-order the same 2-pack a few times in the last year and the item has changed. Bring back the old two-pack of Colavita please!

We have been purchasing Colavita Balsamic Vinegar for almost a year now. I mix it 2 cups Colavita Olive Oil to 1 cup Colavita Balsamic Vinegar. Whip quickly. It will thicken as you whip. Then pour it into bottles and store in refrigerator. The flavor is fabulous. The price point is perfect. We will continue to buy this product!

It's delicious and the price is incredible for the size, I've bought snaller bottles, different brand for more money that wasnt as good. Plus it's very attractive to look at. I have now purchased two more bottles, I absolutely love it

The texture is thinner than I expected, and not as sweet (probably because it's thinner) as the other ones I have had so far. It has a very fruity smell, which I like. Acidity is more obvious probably because its less sweetness. For people who prefer their balsamic to be less sweet this could be a good option.

I'm surprised at all of the reviews that say this isn't sweet! Sure, it's not maple syrup-sweet, but there's a lot of sweetness in this vinegar. A really pleasant, jammy taste that lingers. I'm very pleased with the complexity, and I bet if you reduced it, it would take on that maple syrup sweetness everyone seems to want.I tasted it side-by-side with the cheap, non-certified grocery store balsamic, and the difference was incredible. I'll never use that stuff again. It makes the cheap "balsamic" taste like white vinegar mixed with black dye and sugar.

Costco used to carry a decent inexpensive balsamic in liter bottles but not lately, so gave this a try. It’s surprisingly wonderful at this price point! Great flavor, perfect sweet/acidic blend, reduces well into a lovely syrup…I’ll be back for more!!

I’ve used many types of Balsamic Vinegars.Some were expensive some were so so .This product exceeded my expectations!The quality was great , the flavor was amazing and full of flavor.The two LARGE BOTTLE SET IS SERIOUSLY WORTH THE MONEY!Unlesss you have a restaurant….
