M12™ FUEL™ SURGE™ 1/4 in. Hex Hydraulic Driver 2 Battery Kit

I love my impact drivers, but full size models are cumbersome and never something I could fit into a toolkit. Anytime I'd work on a minor project or fix something at my rental I typically ended up using a ratcheting screwdriver or underpowered Dremel screwdriver as they were the best options I could fit into a veto pac. However, since picking up the m12 surge and adding it to my toolkit I've used it almost exclusively and its quickly become my favorite tool. I was hesitant to add another brand/battery type into my current mix of brand/batteries, but the surge impact, as well as the m12 line in general, have assuaged my concerns as they've provide significant qol improvements and time savings. This thing is tiny yet just as powerful as my full sized impact. It fits comfortably in my veto pro and adds a negligible amount of weight due to the lack of a monster-sized battery pack. The addition of a third party bit holder secured to the side of the tool allowed me to ditch my drill and case of bits, giving me a chance to replace them with a greater diversity of tools. Lightweight, quiet, portable, powerful, quality, etc. I've yet to find something to complain about and highly recommend both the surge and overall m12 line. Even if you're already tied to another tool brand, the m12 offerings are worthwhile and at the moment not being replicated by many other brands.

Milwaukee never disappoints! You really can’t go wrong with their tools. This small power tool is super convenient and perfect for having on the go. It’s strong enough for framing work and tough home projects, and I haven’t had a single issue with it. The full kit is a must-have — two batteries, a charging kit, and a storage bag. Everything you need, all in one. I couldn’t be happier with it. This is an easy 10/10. I absolutely love this M12 hand power tool

Great tool. Small when using 2AH batteries and relativelly quiet.

It was time to replace my previous impact. My old impact was a Dewalt 20V, and lasted me 8 years. I decided it was time to retire that abd get a 12V Milwaukee. I work apartment maintenance and do a lot of HVAC and appliance troubleshooting and repairs. I wanted to get something compact, light, and not as loud as my old impact. This one checked each box off. It took me a couple weeks to get used to the softer impact and the sound difference. It's not nearly as strong/ fast as my old impact and I knew that nefore hand. With that said though, this impact is exactly what I need for work and nothing less. I would highly suggest this strong little guy.

Great tool with a surprising amount of power for a 12V! After years of Ryobi One+ tools I splurged on this and the M12 hammer drill and they are so great. My favorite feature of this driver is putting a bit in is a one handed ordeal. It’s the little things that go a long way for me. They easily out perform my Ryobi brushed 18V versions and are well designed and functional. I’m not done with Ryobi but for the most used tools I’m a convert. The compact batteries have decent runtime but not great. My next batteries for this will be the larger version.

Wow! Could not be happier with purchase. Excellent deal for two batteries included. Light and powerful. The battery lasts me over a week on 45+ HVAC systems.

I love this thing. Comes in at a great price and its quality and power continue to amaze me. It’s size allows it into to small spaces making it extremely functional. I have used it all day at the construction site and its handle design and lightweight batteries make it an extremely comfortable addition to the tool belt.

This is a great tool. Very powerful, durable and had different settings for impact. A clip also for tool belts. The batteries charge fast. A couple downfalls are the grip. It is a bit tough to hit the reverse/forward button. The small battery gives it a top heavy feel. Can be a bit straining on the wrist. I believe there are batters sold to have the feel of major brands. Also no bits included. Overall, 4 stars.

Mi equipo para uso diario en refrigeración, el control es total y la fuerza está muy bien para algunos tornillos difíciles, muy útil el auto stop para autotaladrantes. Muy bueno para lugares donde el ruido si es importante puesto que a comparación del golpeteo de uno normal, si reduce bastante el sonido

Absolutely love this Impact driver. Got this as a replacement for my Bosch Professional 12v which had finally died after many years. I work doing maintenance for one of the large supermarkets so am used to using various makes of power tools..... Got to say I do really like Milwaukee. I got this primarily for use at home and wanted 12v due to the compact size. I had heard good reviews about this one which is a Hydraulic Impact Driver...... it has blown me away! Size/weight/power is perfect and it is well balanced in the hand. Due to it being Hydraulic it is so quiet compared with every other impact drivers I have used..... it is bit of a game changer. If you are working somewhere where the noise can be disruptive, like a shop, customers home or enclosed space then this really will make a difference. Batteries last agood amount of time, but I also bought a couple of larger batteries to use when needed. I would absolutely recommend this Impact Driver not just to Professional but Diyers as well.
