This is the third copy of this movie I have ordered. My wife and I saw it years ago and we bought a copy for her brother so he could enjoy it and here twenty years later we were naming movies we had really enjoyed over the years and this name popped up. Looking for our copy was to no avail so I ordered another copy to share with our son since he is a grown man now and married. Hope he laughs as much as his mother and I have !

I never would have guessed Liv Tyler would make such a good bad girl. She was young in this. Her look of vulnerability and innocence reminds me of Chloe Grace Morents.The male characters reminded me of the guys who leave the stripper bar a few hundred $s poorer and think , she really likes me.

Funny as hell, especially if your girlfriend/wife/ex-wife was ever ga-ga over getting a house. A wildly under-rated comic treasure. This is peak Liv Tyler, I don't know what became of her after this. John Goodman's performance is so bittersweet, he went way beyond the call of duty for what could have been a simplistic screwball role. This movie was the last time I consistently laughed out loud with Paul Reiser. Reba McEntire was well cast as the shrink. There are sexual scenes that might make you uncomfortable in certain company, but it's almost all for comic effect.

This dark comedy keeps you glued to the storyline with a cast of great actors.

Awesome movie I enjoyed it alot

Well, in the ad I saw for the movie it didn't mention region code. So I assumed it was either region free or was compatible as it turned up in my searches. Unable to watch it so I can't give it a proper review.

Eine schwarze Komödie, die diese Bezeichnung verdient und nicht bloss eine Ansammlung makabrer Spässchen ist. Liv Tyler gibt eine Femme fatale, die den Männern den Kopf verdreht. Wie drei von ihnen ihre jeweils eigene Fassung der Geschichte erzählen, macht die Handlung aus. Schade nur, dass die Regie der weiblichen Hauptfigur keine eigene Stimme zugesteht und sie lieber mit der Kamera voyeuristisch angafft, anstatt selbst zu Wort kommen zu lassen. Das fällt einem aber weniger auf, da alles sehr flott erzählt wird und die einzelnen Rollen nur so weit überzeichnet sind, dass sie nicht das letzte Bisschen Bodenhaftung verlieren. Zusammen mit ein paar überraschenden Wendungen wird das Ganze zu einem kurzweiligen Spass. – Unabhängig vom Sujet, Matt Dillon wertet jden Film auf, in dem er mitspielt.

Watched it several years ago and found it extremely funny. Watched it again and found it as entertaining as ever, good comedy never loses it's appeal.
