Amazon Fire HD 10 Tablet Case, Charcoal Black

When I bought the Fire HD 10 last December I automatically bought this case with it. At the time I really was perplexed and not happy at how the case cost half of what I was paying for the tablet itself. Well now I have had both for almost 6 months and the case has held up extremely well and looks and feels as if it is still brand new. To test things out I did purchase a few of the alternative cases that were much cheaper and they just did not protect the tablet the same nor perform the desired functions. This case from Amazon still folds easily into a stand and the sleep mode lifting and shutting of the cover works great. Most importantly the power of the magnet in the cover is as strong as when I first got it. This is where all the other covers I tried did not perform. So yes this cover is pricey but it is the first time I have ever questioned Amazon's pricing. And due to its high performance, quality and durability there must be a reason for the price. It works great and I can't imagine using my tablet without it.

Amazon did a great job making a simple, effective cover for their Fire 10.The Fire is big and on the heavy side to hold for extended periods of time. I promise you will want to prop it up now and then and it couldn't be easier than this. The cloth like textured exterior is much nicer to the touch than the plastic backing of the Fire itself. The color is a perfect match (I got blue), and the fit is very tight and secure. It is still new so I don't know how durable it will be, but it certainly seems to be well made.It is noting that this type of cover provides little edge drop protection. Yes it will help some if you drop your Fire, but this case is more about its added conveniences (auto sleep, the stand, etc) and for protecting your screen while moving it around and shoving it in bags or gloveboxes than it is drop insurance.Amazon tends to put these on a good sale at the same time as the Fires, so it's wise to grab one at the same time.

This is a great case that will keep your Fire clean and lightly protected. Probably the most functional tablet case I've owned. Using the stand is a bit wonky, but it works well and really clever to integrate it into the cover design. I havent dropped my tablet yet, but really doubt it would provide much protection from dropping off a table. That said, I've owned a few tablets in my time and can't remember dropping them from a significant height, so that is really moot with me....my phone on the other hand has a beefier case since it does occasionaly fall.One of the features I really enjoy is the magnetic flap of the case. Not only does it secure the cover during a closed postion, but when in the open position, it can be used to stick your tablet onto metal surfaces. I have used this on the fridge to watch videos or play music while in the kitchen. On the fireplace for my kids to watch something. On a metal beam in the basement while I'm working out. Absolute a gamechanger in terms of functionality.

I’ve been searching for this type of case for a long time, now that I’ve found it and purchased it I’m complete. It’s sleek and fits my 10 9th gen perfectly. I see nothing wrong with it. Came in perfect condition. Wake feature works great and goes great with my plum kindle. I love it! Will update in future how it holds up since I literally just got it. I’d recommend.

This is my favorite purchase of the year!! The reviews have been wonderfully helpful to me in making my decision. I have been really hesitant to join the streaming population but there are soooo many great shows and movies I've been missing! Some streaming options are just not available on cable. I started thinking about a tablet and who knows more about tablets than Amazon, right? This HD 10 tablet is the best. Setup was a breeze, I purchased my services and I was ready to go (I watch Prime, of course, as well as AMC+, AppleTV, Netflix and HBOMax and I've had no issues with any of these services on the tablet)! It's so much fun to use, the sound is amazing, the picture quality is beautifully sharp and crisp, navigation is easy - I'm hooked! Once you get it and turn it on, the setup instructions are very straightforward. I only got it to stream, but I can play games, go online and shop, fool around on Pinterest and check my email, if I want. If you are looking for a tablet, look no further. I highly recommend this one!!
