Creatures of The FAE Playing Cards by Gent Supply - Black, Gold & Silver Edition

The cards are beautiful, but at least one lot of the Green Edition were shrink-wrapped and labeled as the Black, Gold, & Silver Edition. Multiple people have had to return the cards and have the correct version. Refer to the Seller's page to see the comments. The Green ones are also beautiful, so I decided to keep them also.

These playing cards look amazing. I actually purchased them for a magic-themed journaling game that I am playing with my penpal, where we have to use the cards to give us our next prompt, so I won't be using them in the typical way you use playing cards, but they are wonderful for our purposes. They are shiny, slick, and black, and they look very magical and new age-y. The print is a little hard to read, as the gold and silver don't stand out super well against the black, but honestly it doesn't matter much for what we're going to be using them for, anyway. The artwork is gorgeous and even the box is really aesthetically pleasing!

These illustrations on these cards are SO pretty! And they have real fae creatures— identifiable ones. Though a cat sith isn’t necessarily a dark fae. They seem to be durable and the perfect size for just about anything you’d like to play. They’re thin, but not too thin. I don’t know if they’re coated, or made out of some kind of plastic but they make a really nice sound when they’re shuffled which makes them fun to play with. The price is kinda steep, but worth it if you like to play with unique cards.

Collecting unusual playing cards is long time hobby. Since I have seen and purchased many decks, I was fascinated by this unique deck. The face cards, jokers, and suit cards are beautifully designed with mythical characters. The deck is perfect for collecting. However, they are difficult to play with, as the black background makes the card difficult to read. Just the same, I love them.

This deck is very beautiful but lacks vibrancy which makes it difficult to read in certain lighting. The waterproof cards are nice and durable, but I would love to see this black, gold, and silver design done with the linen finish card material and more vibrant colors.

These cards are absolutely amazing! They are so detailed and fascinating to look at, and they feel AMAZING to shuffle. They even have an extra card in with them that describe what the fae on each card is. 10/10, would buy again! Probably will buy more from them actually. 😂

The card design is great, however with the cards being black they are hard to see.
