All in all, great product! Just had to mod a little for my tastes.
Great heft to this unit, very solid feel in the hand and comfortable to hold thanks to matte textured body with rounded edges. The grinding action is incredibly smooth and stable, leading to very pleasing operation as well as very consistent grind. Disassembly for cleaning is very easy as well, just take care to hold the main shaft in place while removing all lower parts before pulling it out when cleaning. The steel burr seems very well machined with nice sharp edges, take care when handling as the hard edges may not be knife sharp but corners on the groove cuts are pointy! Speed of grind is very fast thanks to large burr diameter, in my experience the ~1.5x larger diameter burr drops grind time by at least 50-60%. My only gripe about this unit is the "guide ring" that borders the burr. This ring has a flange that leaves only so much space around the burr that only slightly larger than percolator size grind will make it through. Ths is not ideal for French press but is still serviceable. If you are ok with a bit more fines in your French press and have a good filter this is perfect, but if you prefer a smoother mouth feel I recommend unscrewing the burr guard and removing the inner burr to wrap a single strip of masking tape around one of the 2 relief grooves milled into the outer side of the burr. A single layer only just covering the grooves themselves (they are split into 2 sides by keying of the burr) will give enough pressure fit to keep the burr securely in place during use and allow for much coarser grind. This will allow for a grind so coarse as to only crack beans, if you want that for some reason.

1Zexpresso JX is better
Looks great. Grind smoothly, but 1Zexpresso JX is more comfortable (better). Grinded powder isbetter than 1Zexpresso JX. Click dial is not marked. It's difficult to know how many times I 've done the click. For espresso fine grinding G1 is also comfortable, but need a lot of time.So I use G1 for espresso and JX for pour over.

Fantastic for everything but espresso
I tried 3 of the highest end grinders on Amazon and this had the best feel and build quality of all of them and is also the nicest looking. If you have listened to the James Hoffman high end grinder review, his main concern about the chestnut was that the catch basket felt like it might wiggle. If that ever was a concern it has totally been fixed on this version as the cup is now a combination or aluminum with chestnut exterior, while the one he had was completely wood.I wanted to use this exclusively for espresso and thought I got great shots from it. The only drawback was the grind time was rather long 21g in 120 seconds and I had to have it at the finest recommended grind setting.in the end I am going to try the kinu m47 instead as it supposedly grinds faster at espresso settings. Still I would highly recommend this grinder except for espresso grinds.

Great hand-held burr grinder
I use a Breville Barista Express to pull espresso every morning but find that the built in burr grinder seems to not be able to grind fine enough even on the finest setting. I purchased this after using my cousin's. I like that it is easy to use, it's easy to adjust the ground size and hand grinding is not too difficult. Previously I've used the hario burr grinder but found that it was difficult to adjust the size consistently.Make sure to read the instructions, it does gives suggestions for the click range for different kind of coffee. I find that 8-9 clicks is perfect for espresso.

Impressive grinder
The grinder is solid, with excellent build quality. Grinds are uniform and consistent. I primarily use it for pour overs and french press, and the settings are easy to adjust for each. It's easy to use, and compact for taking to work or road trips. I highly recommend this to any fellow coffee fanatic.

Bought by mistake but satisfied!
It's a good grinder - there are better ones for making espresso with Flair Pro. Still, I was able to pull a good shot!

Worth every cent for this burr grinder
This is a fantastic burr grinder! Doesn’t take long. It’s a nice strength building exercise for your hands/wrists. 1.5 batches gets me a whole Percolator’s worth! Coffee has never tasted better.
