Let’s assume the disc is 20 mm thick and weighs 1000 grams. It will hold when arm is vertical but may struggle at other angles. Also what you attach to helps determine answer. The grips are very strong so I think a disc 40mm thick and 35 mm in diameter would hold. This would hold something of 200 grams in weight. The flexi arm with the clamps weighs nearly 600 gms.
