Beautiful Book with Delicious Recipes – Perfect for Kitchen Decor Too!
The media could not be loaded. This cookbook is absolutely stunning. The design and quality are amazing—it looks so elegant and high-end. I actually bought it not just for the recipes, but also to decorate a corner of my kitchen, and it looks perfect there. Right now, it’s the only decor piece I have, and it already makes the space feel more styled and cozy.On top of how beautiful it is, the book is full of delicious recipes that are easy to follow and truly inspiring. So whether you’re using it for decoration or actually cooking from it (or both!), it’s totally worth it.

Good but like first volume better
The recipes in this book are good and the substitution section is so incredibly helpful. However I have used more of the recipes in the first book than from this one. Although there are some excellent recipes in this one.

A Delightful Culinary Journey with Joanna Gaines
"Magnolia Table, Volume 2: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering" by Joanna Gaines is a treasure trove of delicious, approachable, and heartwarming recipes that bring people together. As a fan of Joanna's first cookbook, I had high expectations for Volume 2, and it did not disappoint.Diverse and Accessible RecipesJoanna Gaines has crafted a collection of recipes that cater to a wide range of tastes and occasions. From hearty breakfasts and wholesome dinners to indulgent desserts and refreshing drinks, there’s something for everyone. The recipes are thoughtfully curated, ensuring both novice cooks and seasoned chefs can find joy in preparing these dishes.Beautiful PresentationThe book is visually stunning, with gorgeous photography that captures the essence of each dish. The images are not only appetizing but also provide a helpful guide for how the final product should look. The layout is clean and easy to follow, with each recipe clearly presented with step-by-step instructions.Personal TouchesWhat sets this cookbook apart are the personal anecdotes and tips Joanna includes with many of the recipes. These stories add a charming, personal touch that makes you feel like you're cooking alongside a friend. It's clear that these recipes are close to her heart, and that passion translates beautifully onto the page.Gathering and SharingTrue to its title, "Magnolia Table, Volume 2" emphasizes the joy of gathering and sharing meals with loved ones. The recipes are designed to be shared, making it perfect for family dinners, holiday feasts, and casual get-togethers. Joanna's emphasis on connection through food resonates deeply and adds a meaningful dimension to the cookbook.Standout RecipesSome of my favorite recipes from the book include the Chicken-Pecan-Asparagus Casserole, the Gruyère-Apple Pie, and the decadent Mocha Trifle. Each recipe I’ve tried has been a hit, full of flavor and comfort.Overall SatisfactionOverall, "Magnolia Table, Volume 2" is a must-have for anyone who loves to cook and share meals with others. Joanna Gaines has once again delivered a cookbook that is not only filled with delicious recipes but also with love and warmth. It’s a wonderful addition to any kitchen and a fantastic follow-up to her first volume.Highly recommended for home cooks, food enthusiasts, and anyone looking to create memorable meals with loved ones.

Fantastic Cookbook with Many Easy Recipes
I can't stop telling my friends and family about this book! It's a well-rounded cookbook that I use multiple times a week for fresh bread, pizza dough, salads, and other recipes. I love how many of the recipes are easily achievable for an intermediate cook and baker like me. Some are a fun challenge to take on, and others are super easy for quick meals. It's a joy to have a cookbook like this on hand, and since Joanna Gaines is so popular, it makes for a great conversation piece with my friends and family that come over--I keep it front and center on my shelf! If you get this, try the cinnamon bread! So delicious!

Amazing recipes, print is tiny
I have Magnolia Table vol. 1 and absolutely love it. I've made many of the recipes and they're amazing. I received Vol 2 as a gift and was thrilled!I love to cook, but especially from scratch as much as possible.Joanna uses ingredients that are easy to find and her recipes are easy to follow. This is a beautifully designed cookbook with lots of photos.Mine arrived with marks on the cover and back cover. I'm not going to send it back because I believe a well loved cookbook which has been used and not just used for display will end up stained and worn anyway. My only complaint, which involves Vol. 1 as well as Vol. 2, is the print size.. I am farsighted and even with my reading glasses, which are the correct power, I have a very difficult time reading because the print is so tiny. Otherwise I would've given this cookbook 5 stars!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I’ve always LOVED Joanna Gaines style and innate sense of organization all achieved with simplicity. Her recipe collections in these FIRST two books support the LOVING commitment to growing a family with heart and grace: very much a balm in these scary and turbulent times. I have a large cookbook collection but both of these books have become my go to recipes for either just me or a gathering of friends. I’m over 70 and love good food and sharing it with friends but am no longer interested in long involved confusing dishes. Jo’s organization is brilliantly simple from the heartfelt philosophy and intent; the guide to herbs, seasonings, and substitutions; to the wonderful recipes! There’s not a one I can’t wait to try. . . well except the salmon (sorry, I’m not a salmon fan!). And a further blessing?? I can now delete a very large portion of my PINTEREST recipes!! YEAH! These recipes and ingredients are familiar, won’t break the bank, and will delight the beginner as well as the experienced! Your mouth waters as you read the ingredients and view the brilliant pics! In retirement I did purge some cookbooks to move (part of cooking is the pleasure of turning the pages BY HAND of a cookbook, not my kindle!). Now I can feel comfortable passing many more books on to others. These cookbooks are such a delight. Thank you, Jo!
