I bought this for a gift for my uncle. He just purchased a replacement Moto G7 after previously dropping and breaking his old one. I made sure to buy him a Otterbox commuter case and a glass screen protector. The phone is held securely while still sliding in and out of the holder easily while in the protective Otterbox case. The clip will allow him to secure his phone to his clothing and while remaining hands free so that he can push his walker or wheelchair. Uncle is a Senior Citizen and a Marine Vet and has some injuries and illnesses that make it difficult to impossible to walk on most days. The card slots inside this holder eliminate the need for him to carry a wallet as well. He can simply slip an ID, debit card, and a few bills inside along with the phone, attach it to his waistband and he’s good to go. He can be hands free while riding the bus to and from his many doctor appointments. He is very happy and very appreciative for this item. I will edit this review after he’s gotten to use it for some time so I can accurately rate the durability.

2 problems; I found this holster to be too big for my phone, even with a rubber case on it. Sloppy loose and a half inch gap at the top with the flap closed. Also, the metal belt clip on back is almost impossible to slide on. Angle of clip is so shallow that it won't catch the inside of the belt. Never could test how tight it held because I could never get it on. Returned it.

It's sturdy and it isn't that bad to remove the belt. However, the straps in the back that go over the belt or too easy to break unfortunately.

The magnet doesn’t keep the lid closed. There is too much room in the phone case for the one phone so the phone slips out and now the glass is broken.

This lasted two months before the belt clip broke. The only way to use it is with the belt straps. I don't like the straps because I can't easily move it when I am getting in and out of cars or doing other work. This met my needs for the purchase but now I am looking for another brand.

The length could be a little greater. There's room on the end but if it was just a little longer it would be easier to get in and out. Also the flap could be a little stiffer. I didn't have it very long before the corner of the flap got bent.

The quality of the leather and workmanship appear very well done. So far it has held up well. If I had it to do over I would probably have selected a vertical mount option as this one seems big. Still... it does hold the phone and I like the magnetic closure of the top.

Having recently gotten a smartphone and not wanting it damaged by having it drop out of my pocket. Its attaches to my by a fat clip and two loops for good security. Its flap holds tight by magnets. I have gone on rugged hiking and my phone never came out. Its big enough for those who have the phone in protective cases. I would buy it again.
