HIVIZSight Systems SGLW18, Litewave Rear Sight, Sig Sauer P-Series

So I bought this rear sight along with a HiViz front sight for my Sig P365XL. My XL has the rear cutout adapter plate that the factory sight mounts to via 2 tiny screws mounted under the slide. I removed the screws after a long hunt for the correct size 5/64 torx bit. To only discover that the factory rear sight is only mounted via the 2 tiny screws and the plate is not cut for dovetails. So unless I can find another sight plate that accommodates a dove-tail style plate, I of out of luck. I had to put the sights/plate back on the Sig.

The sight itself is good but as a general note, I would suggest that Amazon requests from the manufacturer more specs on the product.I am buying more now from Amazon than from professional providers because of quick and reliable delivery but often lack the details on stuff. Like in this case the hight, the dovetail size will help a lot.

These state that they are for the P series. There was no way they'd fit in my P238 without major alterations

They are great sights. Really helps find the sight in lower light conditions

Have not installed it on the slide yet.
