Tested it before handing them out and this thing is genuinely loud. No question it would get attention. What I like most is the dual activation: you can press the button or pull it apart. **Q: Does the pin completely come out or just a little bit? Other alarms completely come out then they are lost. I’m looking for one that does not come out**
A: The pin does not come completely out. I had to send it back as it turned on by itself and the only way I could turn it off was to push the pin back in. It may be that mine was just malfunctioning and would not happen to anyone else

A: It comes with just 1 USB charge cord but you can use any other that fits in the alarm...I accidentally threw the box away with the cord inside and went crazy, but my son was able to find one of his to match it...try to google Safesound for a replacement....

What I like most is the dual activation: you can press the button or pull it apart. Smart design; it's not so sensitive that you're setting it off by accident in a backpack, but not so stiff that it would be a problem in an actual emergency. That balance really matters to me. Rechargeable and comes with a strobe LED too. Great value for a 3-pack. Highly recommend for anyone with kids or teens who need a little extra layer of safety.

Fortunately, I have not had occasion to use these little alarms. All I can really say about them is that I find them to be loud, the light function works, I like that you have the option to either press the button (twice) for the alarm or pull out the keychain stem, and the price for three of them seems very affordable to me. Worth the purchase to just stash in a pocket or keep by your bedside. I also like that they are rechargeable and I don’t have to guess whether the batteries are due for replacement. Just occasionally recharge them.

The alarm sound is not very loud. The pull to start the alarm is stiff and doesn’t pull out easily.it
