Survived two major hurricanes!
We live in hurricane alley, which recently had TWO direct hits from monster hurricanes only weeks apart. These covers were perfect for our roof turbines, that are known to spin off & damage the roof during these CAT 4 & bigger storms. They are a very nice weight of fabric, sturdy & very easy to put on. I did add a round of duct tape to the bottom, since we were dealing with such a force of nature. The drawstring could use some improvement, but even it can be managed with a couple extra minutes of pulling the fabric over the string. To survive 157mph PLUS winds, not once but TWICE, they definitely get five stars from me.

Turbine vent covers.
They have 2 sizes, small and large. Be sure to measure your turbine's, for what size you need. I didn't and I went with the large ones but I could have used the small ones. Plus the draw string don't draw very well, so I had to use some duck tape. They're made out of strong canvas and work really well.

Heavy Duty
It's black, heavy duty, sized perfect for my type. Some difficulty snuggging up with the draw-string due to stiffness of new heavy duty material and I suppose the tightness of the sown channel.

Not having to climb on the roof every two months to replace ven hood cover.
Excelente cover, the northern wind would not blow it away, this is my third cover I had purchased, and this is the only one the would stay put.

Chimney cover
Used this to cover my chimney vent. Good quality material. It's surviving the 115 degree weather in AZ.

Great covers
Good fit using now to save on heat escaping

Terrible Product
Draw string sewn in too tight to cinch—ripped the pocket when attempting to tighten in 3 of 4 covers, indicating the material, though heavy, is cheap/fragile. Look elsewhere.

Only lasted a few months.
One of the two covers became extremely weatherbeaten after just one season. It faded to a light grey and shredded. The other cover also faded, but did not shred (but did blow off the turbine). See picture.
