The plates and bowls are good sizes, and they're break resistant, washable, and made of bamboo, so if they're ever broken or thrown away, they won't harm the environment. The one thing that I don't care for is the texture of the bowls. It's like holding a raw wooden spoon almost. I understand that's probably because it's made from bamboo fibers, but it's not a great feeling.
