Sturdy, tubular steel pillars provide incredible strength and rigidity to support even the heaviest of components, and an additional support bar can be utilized for extra and assured rigidity. Review: Easy, Peasy - Slight alarm when the box arrived. I had measured versus the specifications at desertcart.com, but the package was larger than anticipated. As it turned out, there was additional packing material,, and the actual dimensions were precisely as indicated. The stand and hardware arrived in perfect shape, something I no longer take for granted. It was so easy to assemble that even I could do it (five minutes, take or give). As far as performance goes, well, it's inert, but it is supporting a very heavy power amp without complaint. I'm well satisfied.

Don't have anywhere near the claimed weight capacity on it but not sure it would hold 200lbs without additional support in the midsection. Little pricey but solid.
