Vital Topic
Suraj Yengde shines a light on one of the most vexing social challenges on the planet: the Indian caste system, which among other things subjugates 300 million Dalits (Untouchables) into economic and social servitude. Through a combination of personal experience, historical analogy, and trenchant analysis, Yengde provides a full-throated defiance of a system drastically in need of reform.

Critical Read
One of the critical books of our time. In this pioneering work Yengde chronicles the empirical struggle against systems of oppression and the way in which dominant frames of power dictate every day life, through a caste-based lens that is applicable globally across intersectional lines of organizing and struggle.

Not really exploring casteism in India
This book, part personal experience of the author where he faced caste persecution even in liberal Europe, part documentation of Dalit culture introduces you to Dalit love, ecdonomy and culture, but not beyond and doestn't dwells into caste being India's culture. But, it tells about Brahmin conerades of Phule &Ambedekar who really supported them &stood with tlhem in their mission, fact that few people know!Read if you only want to understand alternative Dalit love, ecdonomy and culture.

Captivating, fascinating, and phenomenal!!!!!
This book has many things, beginning with chronicling the torment of a dalit life to the dalit love. The most appealing is the classification of dalit, after the ages of stogges this book has taken courage to do so. Raising questions on the issue of dalit. Overall it was a great experience. With dalit love and pride.
