Amazon Essentials Women's Lightweight Mockneck Sweater (Available in Plus Size)

I always look for turtleneck or mock turtleneck sweaters but I have a thin neck so most sweaters end up having the neck droop down and/or get stretched out by moving my head throughout the day, which I hate. I figured at this price point, it wouldn't be a major loss if I didn't like it and I would just wear it around the house. I love these sweaters! I have both the mock and regular turtle neck in a few colors and will probably purchase more. The mock turtleneck is high enough to keep your neck warm without having to fold over and "cuff" the neck- it's almost to the top of my neck but isn't tight or restricting. Same thing for the regular turtleneck, when you fold it over, the neck doesn't droop or stretch out by the day's end, which I love. The material is on the light side, so when it gets really cold, I'll put a thermal top underneath. I'm 5'3", 120 lbs and got a medium. I wanted it a bit roomy for when I put another layer underneath. The material is very soft and it washes nicely. I let it air dry to minimize shrinking but on a few occasions, it's gotten thrown in the dryer- no pilling, wrinkling or major shrinkage. These sweaters are definitely keepers! Some people have said they run big, but I've found medium to be comfortable without looking bulky or oversized. I'd say if you are between 2 sizes, which I am (between medium and small), maybe go for the larger size.

Love this light weight sweater. Not too bulky. Fit is neither too snug nor too loose. Very classic look for work or at home casual.

It seems like the Amazon Essentials brand is nice clothing. I purchased three of these sweaters: camel Heather, olive and light gray-all as pictured. They are nice fabric, stitching and good quality. I just ordered a forest green as well. I wear a large/xl normally and ordered xl. Fits perfectly, not small, not over big.Update: I have ordered EVERY color except red. I love these. Great piece for your wardrobe!

This has an Amazon tag that seems to be made in China, but the sizes measure true to US sizes and are pretty close to the sizes of department stores in the US. 2x is relatively true, but I would size up one for a layered shirt look.This sweater is thin and great at 70 degrees. Or warm interiors that you do not want to get too warm near the fire.Good for California in December which is where I live, keep the arms warm but not too hot for Sunny weather. I find it warm enough but nice coverage for my bust at 44F I ordered 2 x.It has a mock turtleneck coverage, which is what I like and it is a nice stretch in case you ordered too small. I think it is fitting true to size.I ordered the green and it is a true forest or viridian green. I like this with the Holiday season it is festive.It feels like soft cashmere and was a surprise for the price. You could wear this to a party or with a nice scarf for an elegant look, or plain for a sporty look. I like that it can be nice for dining out or just watching TV.It runs a little short so those who are long-waisted it will come mid pelvis and short-waisted like me but busty, it will be just below the pelvic bone. I might order another one size larger just in case it shrinks.The fabric is 20% cotton, 20% Modal 55% polyester. Machine wash on the gentle cycle and dry flat.

I absolutely love this mock turtle neck. I purchased this in the ivory/white color to wear under light blazers for work or casual with jeans and a vest. It is super soft and lightweight. I wear a cami underneath. The length sits right at my pelvic area. I am 5'5 - 160lbs and I got a large. I've washed and work it 3xs already and it is holding up well. I do not put it in the dryer. I shape and lay flat. It has kept the length and also no stretch at the neck line, which can happen with some mocks. Would definitely purchase again.

I liked the color and the material, but the fit is off. I'm 5'1", 115 lbs. and typically wear a size small. This small was too wide in the chest, and the sweater overall was way too long.
