These seal well, and I can't think of any food-oriented liquid that would pose a threat to the plastic material. All bets are off though, for (1) harsh chemicals or (2) pressurized contents, e.g., from fermentation, carbonation, etc.

Is there a rubber seal inside the cap?

No rubber seal. Instead, the top of the bottle fits tightly into a ring on the underside of the cap. The cap is one-piece and made of slightly stretchy plastic. The result is a good seal. For a larger example, this works the same way as the caps on Gatorade bottles.

Great size but not screw top like shown!

These are the perfect size to put a 5ml dose of Zyrtec in my daughter’s neffy case… however, they showed that they are screw top and they are not. You just pull the cap off and push it on. I worry that’ll leak or open way too easily but we are going to give it a try in her neffy case!
