Beautiful leatherwork !
This is...was...a magnificent quality whip, perfectly constructed of fine leather. But, well, I bought it as a toy for my pet serval and caracal -- and they loved it to death, very quickly. I got a few nice videos of the serval towing the caracal across the floor. The fine leatherwork couldn't deal with such abuse, but it was such a hit with them, that I've ordered another one, from the same company, made from nylon paracord. The company's products are of the highest quality, and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Well worth the money
As a beginner , I purchased this whip based on the user comments above. This is not kangaroo hide , but cow hide , as the description honestly says . I'm no judge of bull whips . but , long story short , I was ecstatic when I produced my first whip crack with YouTube instruction . Only a few minutes later , the cracks were almost gunshot loud . Made my ears ring . I received some extra whip crackers and a whip holster , which I had to modify as it was too big for my coiled whip . Good buy . My good buy opinion still stands . A good buy for the money - $44 . That said , this whip lasted 1 1/2 months . Plait on the ball end and transition swell is tattered .The fall hitch came unraveled exposing not a leather core but 1/4 " rope , whipped with cellophane tape on the end .But it did provide a beginners whip .

Great for the price ...
But not great craftsmanship . On my third day trying to hone my whip , the fall came off and completely started to unravel my whip . I do not know how to repair it nor will I try , but the price and what uu get is fairly responsible .

Looking Good.
I cannot write a review based on it's use yet, as I purchased this as a Christmas Gift for someone into these types of things, but as I unboxed it and got a good look and feel of it can tell it's a good whip. Packaged very nicely, looking very legitimate and product is as described. Branding is well done. Solid.

Kids are Loving it!
This looks and feels like the real deal. My 22 year old son had to crack a whip in a play performance so I got it for him to practice at home with. It became a new toy for him and his 15 year old brother to mess around with and enjoy.I was raised on a horse farm and we use to use one when lunging the horses in the round pen (not sure if that's still standard). I was able to crack it immediately and teach my kids how to do it.It cracks nicely and is easy to use. It came with a few extra "cracking" pieces (little leather strips that go on the end) so that was a nice addition.I would definitely recommend.

Cheated an extra foot
Bought the 4ft whip but I think I was sent the 3ft one. It's sooo short. I'm 5'3" and this thing barely reaches my ribs from the floor. Quality is great though. It's just too short.

Good value
Great value for the money. Vary durable. Comes with extra end strings for when it wears down.

Cool whip
My 9 year old got this for Halloween. It is sized for the part as it is only 5-6 feet long. But will it crack? Absolutely I was able to make it crack on my first attempt. My boy had to work at it but he’ll get it.My neighbor across the field wanted to try it out when we stopped to trick or treat. His first attempt struck his left ear he yelped like a pup wanting mom then he tried again being more cautious of when to pull back but alas was a little too late and popped his toe. He dropped to the floor of his living room and wailed in pain until he got his sock off to reveal the largest hairiest toe with a little red welt I’ve ever seen. All in all a great prop whip it will crack but I don’t think you want to try taming lions with it.
