Prodyne Under Cabinet Paper Towel Holder, Silver and Black Small

I bought this because I had the opportunity to use this kind in another residence. It’s easy to use and replace the paper towel roll. I had a small space to work with to install it, which was awkward, and it turned out fine. It will stay there if I move, and I’d definitely buy another one.

I used double sided gorilla tape, but you could also use the 3M dual lock “tape” rather than screwing this into anything. The back side is totally flat so it’s perfect for that. You won’t put holes into anything that way either. I put on under the kitchen counter and one under the bathroom cabinet over the sink. It holds up perfectly even with kids pulling hard and being rough on it. If you use the dual lock tape you can remove the paper towel holder any time and then re adhere it as the tape can be used over and over again-its similar to velcro but about 1000 times more powerful. This product DOES NOT come with the tape, so you need to buy it separately. This product is perfect for small living spaces, campers, etc. It freed up counter space and is very simple to use. The quality is great, but I can’t speak to how amazing it would be if you use screws rather than the 2 kinds of tape I used. I used the durable double sided gorilla tape for one, and the 3M dual lock black for the other. Both hold up incredible but if you want the option to take the holder off and back on without having to get new tape each time, you need the 3M dual lock.The item came within 1-2 days, simple packing without much waste. Simple instructions (which I didn’t need as it was as easy as applying the velcro/tape and sticking it in place). I definitely recommend this as it doesn’t look cheap, but doesn’t stick out or look bulky either. It’s just right for what I needed. Don’t buy the plastic kind! This weighs even less than those and lasts forever whereas the plastic type are brittle and break within days to weeks at best.

I've had this same paper towel holder in my house for 20 years and love it. I bought a new house and had to get it again. It's very sturdy, easy to install and holds the paper towels very firmly. I also like the fact that it gets the towels off your counter, freeing more space. Value is great for a product you only need to replace if you get a new house. I could have very easily taken it down, but I thought the couple who bought my house would enjoy it as much as I have.

Very nice looking and almost perfect - but be careful about the size of the rolls you buy. This doesn't fit the extra fat ones. Sort of like many of the pants in my closet I can't wear anymore.

It's very light weight and easy to install under your cabinet.. The best part is that it's so easy to attach and remove rolls of paper towels., so unlike the old style ones that pop closed as soon as you remove the roll. These are stationary and a genius design.

This is hands down my favorite paper towel holder. I am actually buying my 4th one, as I’ve bought one every time I’ve moved since first trying it. I don’t like the typical holders with one open end, because it makes it hard to tear off a sheet. I also don’t like them on the counter. This one fixes both of those issues! It is easy to install, and holds the roll in place well. Seriously, it is the best!

I purchased this towel standing in 2016, two apartments ago. It’s easy to install an uninstall, strong and doesn’t bend out of shape. After four years or so, one of the balls started to fall off when paper towel was being tagged off, but I used a couple drops of superglue to resealed the ball. I have been using it ever since with no issue.This is the product to buy. Excellent value

Im not sure why the other reviewers are being so harsh, this is a great product if used with the correct size kitchen rolls. They fit larger rolls, namely the Regina Blitz rolls (both normal and XL version). The roll fits in perfectly but it is a bit of a squeeze getting them on because of the rubber mounts. Once on however, even the XL rolls (which are thicker due to more sheets) spin around nicely.The best part is the entire construction is 1 piece of solid and springy metal so theres no chance of anything breaking. Also the back is completely smooth which allowed me to mount it onto my wall using some removeable adhesive strips (3m command or tesa powerstrips). 2 large strips is more than strong enough to hold the mount + a full roll and still withstand quite a bit of pulling/tugging. And the best part is it will remove leaving no trace whatsoever.All in all, this is a much more stable option compared to the single arm metal holders. It is also a much stronger option than a plastic holder. If you use normal sized or smaller kitchen rolls, this isnt for you.
