Saved a call to the locksmith!
I had a tumbler that needed repinning but I didn’t have the key. This key plus some shims saved me from having to calling a locksmith.

It is useful when buying with Shim together
instead of making keys out of this blank, with metal Shim the lock core without key can be removed and rekeyed. Works well.

Exactly what I needed!
My company recently relocated to a new building and we only had one key to a storage closet in our warehouse, but it was a blank Schlage key. The guys at Home Depot looked at us like we were crazy when we said we needed a copy, so we asked if they had any similar blank keys.. no dice. Thankfully I found it here on Amazon and ordered 2 copies. The only weird thing is that I was sent 30 keys! No idea why, but now I have this bag full of blank keys. But hey, they work! So thank you!
