These are nice, can change colors. They can break like any fragile toy if kids are rough with the sword play.

They don’t look like the ones in the movies but the lights are awesome and they hold up to abuse reasonably well. My kids love them and they were affordable enough to buy multiples.

In full disclosure, I haven't removed the tabs yet to actually use these as I want to save the battery since I'm using these as centerpieces for my son's Bar Mitzvah, or my review might be 5 stars. I wish that I'd ordered these instead of the other set of a dozen light sabers I ordered through Amazon from Windy City a couple of months ago, as those won't stay expanded, I don't care for the blinking light options and the colors for the solid state light aren't the green, blue and red of these. These are skinnier and seem like they will be much better for my centerpieces.Windy City, is there any chance I can still exchange my original dozen for a dozen of these? Some of the tabs are removed from them, but those have only been on for under a minute each.

My son sold these at her cousin’s Wedding and he’s 10 he sold them for $6 and we bought 2 boxes he made $110 would of been $170 but he had to pay back Money for the product. He managed to save it and bought a new keyboard and mouse. If u want your son or sons to know about business I would highly recommend this

The kids loved them at their party. We used them instead of sparkler's this Fourth of July.

I bought these for my son's Star Wars birthday party, and I really wanted to love them. I thought they were exactly what I was looking for--extendable light sabers with light but no sound. But unfortunately, the only non-flashing color mode is pink. There are three bulbs inside--blue, red, and green. The different modes are: all colors flashing; fade between all three colors (cycles through all the colors of the rainbow); all three bulbs on (the result is a pink color); flashing red; flashing blue; flashing green. If those last three modes were solid instead of flashing, and the kids could choose a red, blue, or green lightsaber, these would be exactly what I wanted. As they are, I think I will return them and get something that looks a little more like Star Wars. Disappointing, because they seem like decent quality and the lights are very bright.

I purchased a box of 12 of these for less than one more "realistic" version which broke in the hands of my four year old in less than 10 minutes. These are perfect for play, a little fragile but easily go back together. If you are looking for fun light sabers for the kids, buy these and know if it breaks...you've got 11 more to back it up. Kids love them and for the price you can't beat it.

They were a hit at my son’s 10th birthday party. The colors change while on and great length as well. Very satisfied with purchase and well worth money. All the boys started battling with it and most of them remained in tact. Only two broke but that is because those two boys were really going at it hard.
