Exceptional ruler, excellent magnification field
This thing is very tough and the magnified middle makes it really easy to drawn tiny, straight lines or handy for reading fine print while also helping you clearly see any intersections you may draw. Works great for me, definitely worth the money

Works pretty good when looking
When you are standing or very close to your desk so that you are looking down from above it works great. If the angle from your eye looking down isn't too great it works. On my desk, I find that what I could normally see with my eyes, I can't see with this thing until I sit up a lot closer. Example: A flat piece of paper lay on my desk, I can read fine with my eyes about 1 foot above the paper and up to 24 inches back from it. I cannot do this with this product. I find that my eyes need to be 9 or 10 inches back from the ruler and looking down to be able to see from an angle. Of course less of an angle works also. When standing up, it works fine. It would be nice if it somehow worked from a better distance. On an angled desktop I am sure it would probably work fine also.

The draftsman tool that my son loves.
My son likes drawing and drawing cubes very much, so he bought the ruler for him. The cube drawn is much more neat than before. My son is also very happy and likes this ruler very much. It seems that I have made a right decision.

Great Purchase
This magnifier ruler is clear, magnifies well on one line and is helpful for keeping track of reading and visibility.

Love this!! Easy to hold!
Love this!! The front piece I hold onto is just the right size for medium size hands, and I can see the measurements around my fingers!! Other rulers I have bought like this have the front holder way too big! The magnification is fantastic!!!

Not if you really need to magnify
It was cheap so I bought it hoping it would help with small print. This is more for those who don't actually need that help but just to make it easier. It is useless if you have vision issues. There is no light attached but I thought that was frivolous and wouldn't need it (not so). The print is larger but only slightly so I would still have to hold the paper a few inches away. I can already do that without a ruler getting in the way. I can't use handheld magnifier because the slight movement affects dizziness. I decided to buy a much more expensive desk lamp version. If you can already read print without any issues this would probably work great. If you have vision problems then not so much or not at all.
