Retro Sewing Machine Pendulum Wall Clock

I gifted this clock to a dear friend who sews like crazy. She loved it, says it's pretty and unusual. Gets compliments from friends who ask her where she got it. She gave them your name. She says it keeps time accurately, was very easy to hang. The pendulum is adorable. No complaints from her. Thanks for asking. Linda

Just perfect in my vintage-designer theme sewing room. The product is like a stamped metal, so very light. I simply used a skinny nail to hang it on my drywall. It looks darling on the wall and even my husband was impressed with the look. The scissors actually swing back and forth! It is a typical clock mechanism with a single AA batt, so it will last for a fair amount of time. Worst case I may have to replace the mechanism, done that on others and no biggie. The primary point is to have the look. and it is great.

Bought 2 one was a gift and the other one was for myself ! I just love it and so did my bestie ! Nice addition to our sewing rooms ! They both working great !!!

Do like this. Its adorable. The one suggestion I would give is to put something the frame of the clock, so it sticks out away from the wall. When you go to hang this and the pendulum needs to swing, it gets stuck as its so close/touching the wall. It doesn't have space to swing. The clock then stops working. I rigged it so the frame is away from the wall just a tiny bit. Since then, it works just fine and its cute on my wall. Received compliments. 🙂

Clock works perfectly and makes a fabulous gift. The scissors pendulum is the perfect touch.Great value for the money.

The clock is adorable in my sewing studio and it came very well protected. It is very lightweight and the only thing to add is one AA battery. The scissors attach very simply after arrival and was in bubble wrap to keep it protected.

The fact that the package unopened weighed less that a few pounds should have been my first clue. The clock face "crystal" is scratched. Seriously? It takes a AA battery, no problem except that it takes three people and a screw driver to get the battery in, which is a millionth of an inch longer than the battery captivity. Do you hang the pendulum from the black arm behind the clock? I don't know - no instructions. The bracket to hang it is at the twelve thirty mark, meaning you have to place a small mail somewhere to keep it level, It's cute, just be aware, it is SUPER duper cheap and I am not going to waste the time or UPS time to return it for $21. Would love a replacement but i fear it will have the same issues. Sad.

I would never gift this item.....it is VERY lightweight, tinny and the hanging "hole" on back of clock is crooked so clock won't set straight. I used spacers on the back to lift it away from the wall because the pendulum would not swing (scraping against the wall because the clock mounts too closely). It is cute from a distance but I would never consider buying again. I paid too much.

It could have been packed better although it did arrive in one piece.Looks cheaper than I expected but it’s nice enough

Unfortunatley I did not get to enjoy this product, although it looked like it would have been a lovely item, it arrived badly damaged due to shipping mishandling.

I mean it’s a clock and does work, but not at all worth the price. It’s cheap metal that I can bend with my hands, didn’t come in any packaging other than a little bubble wrap and in a very damaged mailing box. I’m wondering if mine was a return because when you look closely, the plastic covering the clock is scratched and there are a few marks on the metal. The AA battery just barely fit in the slot. I thought the clock may break when I put in the battery which took some force, the battery slot had to bend just to fit the battery in. I got it in but I don’t believe it will be easy to get out.For $45 I was expecting proper packaging and higher quality for sure.

the clock is not balanced with the hanging hook it leans to one side so I had to use decorative thumb tacks to level. It is also made of thin tin. but my wife likes the look and style .
