Cuts Clean but struggles to fit in single gang boxes.
They work good but are definitely made for stripping before you put wire in the box. The head is too fat to fit in a single gang nail on which is what i was hoping i could use it for. If you use it to strip before you get it in the box it works perfect and cuts clean.

Genius idea
I showed these to the guys at CES today after I tried them out. Instead of crappy Romex sheathing all mangled-up at the back of the gang box, you get a clean cut/score for 14/2 and 12/2 that you can just snatch the outside jacket off. Saves time, looks very professional. Equal quality of my Klein strippers.

great tool for stripping outer and inner insulation of 12-2 awg & 14-2awg house wiring.
great tool to get that nasty outer white, yellow and grey insulation off without cutting into the inner black & white wires. tool will even strip the black & white wires once outer insulation is removed. BUT, the covers on the handles of the tool tend to slide off when using them. it gets annoying when they don't stay put so i either need to somehow glue them on or remove them entirely and use gloves when stripping wires.

Get this tool!
I am an experienced DIYer in the middle of wiring a 20’X24’ detached garage (for context). After wiring half of the 2-gang electrical boxes in this structure, I ordered these strippers and did the other half in about half the time. That is 9 2-gang boxes with 4 runs of 12-2 nmb stripped clipped and wired in about 45 minutes because I could cut to length, reach in the box and remove the outer sheathing, then strip conductors and loop the ground with just this tool. It’s a game changer for the non-electricians.

Poor quality control - updated
I had high hopes for this tool and when it arrived I was very excited to use it. I’m in the middle of a project so I immediately went to a box with wires and reached in and went for a strip. Both handles immediately slipped off the tool and it landed on the floor. So that’s the first problem is that the handles are not glued on. The second problem is the jaws are not in alignment. I have already returned one and received a replacement and it is exactly the same. I’m going to glue the handles on and try it out again today but I have concerns of the wired getting nicked with the jaws being out of alignment. Great concept but somewhat poorly executed. Kind of bummed to have a made in the USA product of this quality.Update- this tool will nick the wire if you are not extremely careful. I nicked 2 wires and am done with this tool. Complete garbage.

Low key not good
Like I see the point and how if you’re forced into a situation this would be nice to strip at the back of the box. However they are poorly made and the hinge joint is wobbly, not very exact with the 12/2 and 14/2 cuts so it’s still a hard pull to remove the sheathing. Takes up a lot of space with the irregular head and doesn’t fit smoothly in a lot of tool pouches etc. really wanted to like this tool but it’s just not it

Must have for Romex
This make stripping Romex so easy. Has the stripper to get to the wores and then stripper for the wires. One tool that does it all.

Ok
The 12g side seems to strip 14g romex better. I had to glue the handle sleeves on as they would come right off when trying to strip.

Waste of money
When I saw someone raving about this tool on youtube I thought it would be a great tool to add to my electrician's arsenal of tools.I'm not sure if I got a 'bad' pair of these strippers or all of them are like it.Absolute waste of money, they don't strip the jacket of the romex at all.I tried different ways to do it, and I managed to strip the jacket eventually but I had to squeeze the handle so hard that it nicked the actual conductors.

Does the job
It's nice to cut NM wire square in the box but it doesn't feel quite the same quality of the Klein NM side cutters. That being said if you have OCD about your cuts, this tool is handy.

Worthless
This tool is garbage, it does not strip the wires outer skin properly, the jaws are not well made and don't cut properly. Wasted my money for you guys to save yours.
