Really Wasn't Expecting It To Be This GOOD!!!
I was prompted to buy this for the silliest of reasons. I bought a pint of Jeni's Coffee & Cream ice cream and thought it was really good. Finally, a coffee ice cream that tastes like good coffee. I realized that Intelligentsia was the coffee Jeni's used, so I went on here and bought a bag out of curiosity. And WOW! It's right up my alley. This is a light roast that gives the vibes of a Costa Rican coffee. It's bright. It's not acidic. It's full of flavor and nuance, and it made me remember why I love coffee so much in the first place. I'm a fan!!!!

Low-Acid, Full-Flavored Coffee: A Win for Sensitive Stomachs
While it's not explicitly stated on the bag, this coffee is low-acid, making it a godsend for my sensitive stomach. I've tried more expensive options like Lifeboost, which specifically markets its coffee as gentle on the gut. While Lifeboost lives up to its claims, it's quite pricey and lacks the full-bodied flavor I find in Intelligentsia. Although Intelligentsia isn't cheap either, it offers a richer taste. If you spot it on sale, I'd recommend stocking up. Makes for a very satisfying cup.

Amazon's inventory is just not fresh
I absolutely adore this coffee. It's a great, light flavor. I've had it at coffee shops before and was wowed by it, so I came onto Amazon to purchase. The coffee from Amazon just isn't the same. I received this shipment on 2/25 and the packaging said the item was packaged in Dec 2022 and expired in March 2023. I figured it wasn't a big deal since it hadn't expired. But my god the taste is awful. It tastes sour and expired. Worst cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. I think I will never get this item from Amazon again. Absolutely delicious if you get a good bag though.

Interesting .
Waited years to try this coveted boujee coffee . I’m so used to the delicious Pike Place Starbucks roast . This wasn’t enjoyable . It’s very watery tasting . It’s very light and it has a metallic /vinegary taste . Also herbal. It truly wasn’t my favorite . I’ll make it into iced coffee and see how it goes .

Deliciousness & Gumption
Intelligentsia Coffee is a favorite of mine that, for some nonsensical reason, I haven't purchased in a while. I saw this bag of ground House blend at a good price and bought it as a treat to myself. My modest aim was to make some cold brew for the weekend, but I made a small pour-over, too, and...it was spectacular! The bright fragrance of chocolate and citrus is luxurious and cheerful and the ground beans make a smooth, drinkable coffee that's lovely black and as a latte. Now I remember why this brand has to go back on my regular orders. Highly recommend if you like a smooth coffee with a kick and a happy fragrance filling your kitchen and cup.
