The glass is durable and well made. The metal clasp is stainless steel so you can wash it in the dishwasher. Most other brands use something like galvanized steel which won't hold up if you wash them in the dishwasher. The cap parts are fused together so I don't worry about gunk growing between the rubber and plastic parts. Plus, it is a trusted brand, still made in France, so I'm confident that it is exactly as described and will last a long time (unlike cheap junk from other places that has weird fillers or contaminants and falls apart with normal use.) Extra bonuses are that they are pretty cute and, if you somehow manage to break one, it is like 95% recyclable.

Reusable and better than paper or plastic. They are parfait.

Lids have a sweet spot if you have anymore strength than a 14 year old girl than you’ll twist the caps past the locking point. Overall the bottles are glass milk bottles

I love the fact these are air tight bottles and I like how neat and uniform they look in my cabinet. I used to use other bottles with pour spouts that did not keep out the air. Those bottles poured like a dream but were not air tight, so I switched over to these. These don’t pour so cleanly - oil inevitably runs down the outside as I finish my pour and I end up having to wipe the outside of the bottle after each use. But that hassle is worth it because I like how they look, they’re airtight, and I do not use the oil in these bottles frequently. I caution if you intend to be constantly cooking with oils from these bottles, keeping the oil from dripping down the side would become a pain.

I have not used the bottles, yet, for my first batch of Kombucha. But they appear sturdy and thick and I am confident will be up to the task!

They are beautiful, they are quality, the come packaged very nicely and cleanly. And the company is great to work with!
