Needs to be sanded!
I bought this on sale, so it was perfectly fine for me. I read the reviews and decided that for the sale price I didn't mind sanding it. Maybe took me twenty minutes to get everything smooth. If you don't want to have to sand it down, or you don't have sandpaper, then don't bother buying this! Sanding was a must, not optional! Otherwise a good quality, all pieces were sturdy and straight. I would have given 5 stars if it came sanded and smooth. Since

You may have to adjust this
The only issue with this was that one side of one of the rods did not fit into the holder well enough to turn. I finally took some sandpaper and sanded it down, and I believe it will work. Apparently the quality control missed this one.

The scroll frame is a great product. I have a larger size already and it’s so comfortable for cross stitch. I was disappointed in the quality of this product (see photos). The wood hasn’t been sanded and was very roughly stamped. You can use it out of the box - I didn’t order the splinters!!

It's perfect for small stitching pieces
I wish I couldn't tighten it more?????

Bolts are too short!!!
Bolts are too short. Will not extend through the wood to allow the wingnuts to be installed. Not usable!!! Very disappointed!!!!!

Nope
This is literally trash. I’m mad I waited 10 days for it. Received several splinters during assembly. Doesn’t fit my product, not as described.

Sidebar hole size - too small
I have many of these frames and this was the first time one of the holes for the scroll was too tight (small), I was able to fix this using a drill bit to make the hole slightly larger so the scroll bar would fit and I could make the fabric tight enough to work with it.
