Stylish and practical. Metal ring on handle gets HOT
Love this except the shiny metal ring between the handle and the pot. My thumb natually wonders there while pouring and it gets very very hot. They show users wrapping their thumb around or placing their thumb on the flat nub of the handle. I might just be holding it wrong, but they could have designed it better.Things I like -1. Decent pour. I can pour a stream of tea from a relatively high height without water splashing. Gooseneck allows very accurate control of pour.2. Pot heats uniformly. The selected material distributes heat quite well.3. I never knew how much I needed the counterbalanced handle. Makes pouring super easy.4. Matte finish is water repellent.5. Inside of pot has not stained from softened hard water after a month of use.6. About 400 ml of water heats to boiling in 7 minutes where I'm at.7. Looks classy.8. I like how the thermometer comes out. I use this for tea and just bought the $3 tea thermometer as a replacement from the Fellowproducts website. I love how they offer replacement parts for reasonable prices.I use a glass top electric stove. No issues with the matte finish peeling or flaking or anything. I want to try getting the Raven's tea steeper and seeing if that is partially compatible with the Stagg.Things to improve -1. Metal ring on handle getting hot2. Max fill mark could be a lot more prominent

Great fashionable Teapot
Awesome little teapot. Bought for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. Comes with w built in thermometer in the lid which had a red zone showing the perfect temperature. We have an electric stove which I think works better for this type of pot. No burn marks at all. Perfect for tea and pour over coffees. I would def reccomend. It’s also pretty enough to leave out on the stove.

DONT BUY
Horrible. It looks great when you buy it. But DO NOT USE IT. If you plan on using it for over a couple months don’t waste your money. The bummer is that it’s not cheap. It would be different if it cost 10-15 dollars. But to spend this much money for it to fail this hard is ridiculous. Paint on the sides is completely burned. It looks hideous. Temperature gauge is 30 off. what is the point of a thermometer that is 30 degrees off? and it ruined my stove grates. The paint from the kettle melted and bonded itself to the grates. A COMPLETE FAIL OF A PRODUCT. Please look at these photos.

Disappointing for Price
Wanted to try it this kettle cause its style is so interesting. It’s the most impractical thing to use ever, the handle can get so hot it’ll melt, doesn’t work on electric burners, and tiny capacity. Regret purchasing, maybe would’ve been better to get the electric one.. oops. It’s pretty though

Love It for Pour-Over, But Scratches and Splashes
The media could not be loaded. I really like this kettle for making pour-over coffee — it’s stylish, well-balanced, and the precision spout gives you great control when pouring. It’s definitely a great tool for anyone serious about their coffee ritual. However, I noticed that the surface scratches quite easily, so you have to be extra careful with how you handle and clean it. Also, if the water gets too hot, it tends to bubble and splash during the pour, which can be a bit messy and even dangerous if you're not careful.Still, I enjoy using it and would recommend it — just with those small cautions in mind.

Essential for my pour-over set up.
I'm in love with this kettle. I'd only caution to take it off the stove if others use big pans on the stove. My white kettle has already gotten small scratches from pans bumping into it. And the white is discoloring a bit on the bottom from my gas-stove flames, so be careful not to let the flames get too big. I wouldn't have any other kettle though. Super chic and effective.

dysfunctional lid
the thing looks beautiful, and the handle is very comfortable. But: there are 3 slits in the lid and you are told not to align any of them with the spout, or water will come out through the lid as you pour. So you have to twist the lid , which makes the markings on the thermometer on top hard to read. Bad design. And even so water will splatter out through those slits if you want to pour ALL the water from the kettle. They also tell you not to hold the lid down as you pour, because it will be hot, but if you don't hold it it will fall out!No matter what you do, there will always be some water left inside, even if you turn the thing upside down. Sorry, definitely not worth the money, unless you are in the market for a decorative kitchen item.

Great size for two people
This is our second one so we love this design and the fact it has a thermometer to know when the water is the correct temperature. It is classy looking to boot.
