Definitely worth the purchase. No regrets. Buying in other colors.
As a smaller dude. 5 ft 5. I have a hard time finding gear that fits in a slimmer style without being of, well, junior or child style. This jacket is my favorite, and I am picky. Fit is amazing, construction is expected with a solid Eddie Bauer brand. It is warm, both in light winter conditions and moderate, including that crisp breeze. I've used this jacke in 50 degree and 4 degree temps. For those out there looking for a good fit that is flexible, sturdy, temperature right and has a good look to it. This is a great buy.

Yes!
This looks fantastic on my husband. Quality and aesthetics are on point. Versatile enough to wear to movie and dinner or hiking. I was impressed with the deep pockets (can hold a bottle of water!) and how thin it was yet keeps my husband warm in winter weather where the temperatures can drop to 20s and 30s. Love this and wish my jackets looked this good on me!

Great jacket with a few caveats
Great fit and looking jacket. It's lasted me a few years with decent warmth.CONSMaterial is thin and will rip easy if snagged on anything and feathers will bleed out constantly.Feathers sometimes find there way out of the seems with is annoying.Would buy again hopefully they can fix these issues though.

The best down jacket so far.
This jacket has met all my expectations. It looks good, is light, keeps me warm in cold conditions and feels good on me. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Product sucks
So Eddie Bauer is supposed to be a very good company that provides good product this jacket 2.0 Is not good it is supposed to be slim cut and us fit nicely but does not provide any warmth do not believe this is the 800 fill power down it’s not it’s more of a 550 you can barely feel the down feathers with in each pocket do not buy this product sucks

Storm Grey is actually a very dark blue! Includes Marmot Tullus Handy comparison.
This is a very nice jacket and fits with room to spare for layers...almost too much. BUT IT IS NOT GREY! It looks more like the indigo but it has orange inside and not red so it is labeled correct. It looks to me like the Chinese assembler ran out of grey and used indigo instead and no one caught the swap. I did not like the indigo...personnel preference. So I returned it.Marmot Tullus Handy vs Eddie Bauer Microtherm 2.0 StormDown Comparison:I bought this and the Marmot Tulus at the same time to compare and both were Hooded Reg Mens XXL size. Eddie was $30 more on Amazon. I am never able to get a good fitting jacket since I am 5'9" and weigh 255 with 27" inseam with waist about 50...so I am all torso and belly.- In many ways these seemed identical the cut looked different and fill was so thin on the Eddie compared to the Marmot. When I worn them in house for 5 min each the Marmot was much warmer even though it's down has a lower rating. Also the lack of loose areas contributed to warmth.- No puff at all with Eddie and it still would not stuff into any of the pockets as advertised. Maybe the pockets are the same on all sizes yet have different volumes to stuff. A smaller size would stuff but not this one. So stuff-able is in question. Both jackets compact into a small size and and would go in a stuff sack even though Marmot does not feature this claim.-- Eddie Fit: The waist was too loose (unbelievable for me as I always have waist to tight!) and to airy and the draw string pulls only the back 2/3rds so the front stays open and the back curls. Shoulders were loose with room to spare. Belly was okay with room. Hood was spacious and elastic did not close enough, in fact, it had room for a thick cap. This jacket has cloth sections in armpits and around back of armpits to shoulder (look closely at photos). There is no insulation here and it seems like a vent area. It does not look as good as Marmot but may breath better. It could also allow wind penetration and be subject to rain penetration.--Marmot Fit: has no draw string but does not need one. For me the Marmot fit perfect and had room for one layer of normal cloth material without tightening. The hood fit nicely without elastic and left enough room for a cap but snug. This jacket just looked good and had a sporty fit...on my body that is a miracle.- Length was nice on both jackets and went almost to bottom of butt but front stayed mid-zipper...perfect.Conclusion: I preferred the Marmot, even if they were the same price. But both jackets are good and if you plan to go with heavy layers then Eddie has more room for my body shape. I bought this for travel and walking cities in cold climates during winter. I have read that both jackets have questionable rain protection but cannot evaluate that yet.

Great Purchase
The price is a bit high for my taste but after my vacation in Cusco and Machu Picchu, I don't regret it at all. It's warm and easy to store after the temperature gets warmer. It rolls up easily and finds in a very small space in your back pack or even a large fanny pac.

Fits as expected. Excellent for “California Cold”
Perfect for the occasional cold weather in California. Packs down very small which is nice. We have to keep it in a backpack. And the pockets are very nice to use and conveniently placed.
