Bond 6-40HD 6ft Packaged Heavy-Duty Bamboo Stakes, 0.75" x 0.75" x 6', 6 Count, Green

Not super strong, but I can't fault them, they were as expected. Stronger than wooden dowel or branch but bamboo of this size can only be so strong. They about 3/8" to 5/8" thick, I drove them 18" into the ground and they are supporting tomato plants 3' so far. I plan to cage the plants the rest of the way.

I've used bamboo pole for things in the past and in general they have not been the sturdiest thing for my plants. These are actually much sturdier than I thought they would be so I am pleasantly surprised. I used them to create a 3 pronged triangle around a creeping trumpet plant i have and they are holding up great as the plant grows and twines around them. The one downside is that they do not have a pointed tip at one end so getting them into the ground was a bit of a challenge. I had to make holes with another implement and then put the stakes in and then shore them up by tamping down dirt and rocks inside the hole. If they could make one end pointy for easier installation they'd be all that and a bag of chips!

Good price, nice size, came quickly. However, because they're skinny, it's hard to push them deep in the ground. A more pointed end would help, or being made of metal AND having a pointed end...

Not even close to what the product description says. Description states that the stakes are .75 inch in diameter and heavy duty, these are flimsy with the largest one just under a half inch, all others were a quarter inch and even smaller in diameter, very misleading info and these are useless for my purposes. For comparison, the picture shows an actual .75 inch bamboo stake next to the thin sticks sent by this company which they advertise as .75 inch stakes.

What can I say except that the bamboo stakes work well. The stakes appear to be very sturdy. My only fault is that I did not order more.

These stakes broke from the weight of fruit tree braches. They are hollow, and very light duty. Spend a little more for a stake that can hold your plants up!

I planted glads this season and did not realize how tall they grow. As they need to be staked or get too top heavy, I needed tall, heavy-duty stakes to keep the flowers from breaking. These are perfect.

This was for some bushes that were starting to lean after some storm damage. one of the six did break in the first 3 days but the rest are doing the job very well.

This is what I received. I am not impressed!!!
