I bought this for my granddaughter. It was easy to teach her on this machine.

I bought this sewing machine for my 8 yr old niece for Christmas. She had no sewing skills but learned very quickly how to operate it. The stitches are very good. It has a needle guard so no problems with catching her small fingers. It IA a small machine so it is fine for a child.

This sews like a big machine. Kids will need quidence.caution not to get finger in way of needle.

Worth the inexpensive price.

I wanted a child's sewing machine for my 8 yr old granddaughter that really sewed. What sold me on this one is the finger guard which is a really nice safety feature. It really sews and is very easy to use. I don't know how long it will last but we're very happy with it.

I had a better sewing machine in the past. My mother also was sewing during my childhood and she had 2 different machine. I am aware of that this one is for children but the back side saw is not good. controlling the speed is hard even for me as an adult. My daughter is now 7 yo and it is some hard for her to use it. Maybe one or 2 years later she can use it better. But we started to sew some clothes for her baby dolls. and i believe it improves her fine motor skills. I am glad I bought it. This one can be for only beginners.

I bought this for my 10 yr old granddaughter and it was terrible! I have been a sewist for 30 years and could not get this to work well at all! Very hard to figure out and when you did it would only work for a minute and then quit. I do not recommend
