This is the second bottle of Black Hemp I've bought. I have light-medium toned skin with a bit of olive under tone and tan pretty easily. My other favorite is Escapade and I've used it for several years in the tanning bed. This product though is about twice? as dark bronzer-wise as Escapade and when the bronzer washes off, it leaves a very beautiful brown color on my skin. It deepens when I am out in the sun or go to the tanning bed. It will definitely stain your hands but I've figured out a way that works for me to keep it from doing that. If I am at home,This particular product is a great candidate for one of those applicator mitts. If you don't have one or don't like to use one, you can do what I do I wash my hands using soap and a small nail brush after i apply it to each appendage then I wash them again like this after I apply it to my face. Once I've finished everywhere but my hands, I apply it to my hands using an ordinary wash cloth. I feather it out over my hands, fingers and wrists. Its not a self tanner so you don't have to take as much care about it being even if you're rubbing it into the backs of your hands lightly. Then, I put the cap on the bottle and rinse the bottle off. When I am away from home and use it and don't have a mitt applicator I try to bring my nail brush but I also use packaged facial cleansing cloths on my palms, that helps until I can get home and scrub.If you're willing to put up with the extra washing of hands, this is a really dark, natural brown looking bronzer lotion.

Within 2-3days my tan was noticeably darker. Moisturized skin perfectly and smell is good and not overwhelming. Will buy again.

I’m hard to tan and this is the best I ever bought

I love this brand and tried the Hemp one. I love the smell and the consistency is great, nice and thick. It puts a nice color on but later when i shower its gone and it hasn't helped me build up much color at all. I think I'll have to go back to the Black 200x.

This tanning lotion is amazing!

I took a shower and applied Paint It Black Hemp product on my skin after 6 to 9 minutes. My skin turned red and felt like it was on fire. Fortunately, I was at home and was able to rinse it off with water. After rinsing, my skin was red and tingling like I was under fire I applied Aloe that refresh my body and the sensation or burning . I am waiting to see how long it would stay red and feeling uncomfortable. I applied the product around 1:16 pm now is 5:16 pm my skin feel much better no more red marks and no tingling any more. I don't know if the reaction is normal or no. I don't want to risk I am retuning the product.

Very good scent.I really recommend this brand now that I have become more familiar with the use of it. I have ordered a 3rd bottle.Even up to 6 hours after I have tanned I get inquiries as to the perfume I am wearing. When all it is the lotion I am wearing from tanning! This stuff in comparison is really high quality. I have ventured out it is thick and I love that.Dark also I love that. Towards the end of the bottle I do notice some light staining of my hands I now have learned some precautions to take to avoid this. FYI it's toothpaste if it doesn't work use baking soda. :) It will remove the stained hands! ( you're welcome)I really think this is my favorite lotion to be honest. I have been indoor tanning for the better part of 10 years. This stuff is worth the few extra dollars for the quality tan that we all strive for.Really I have to tan fewer times a week with this lotion compared to others I have used in the past. I wont stay again!

I like this lotion! I'm new to tanning and there are SO many options on Amazon so I pretty much randomly picked one based on the reviews. I have a nice even tan color after I use it. I have been doing the stand-up "bed" for 9 minutes twice a week and now just once a week. This stuff does turn your hands black, literally, but I've found that when I get home and wash my hands a little comes off. After I let it sit on my skin for an hour or so and take a shower the black is off completely. Recommend!

I never personally bought this item from any tanning salon. The only place I’ve bought this is from Amazon but I have to say I love this product. I can’t comment if it’s the original or not but I can state that it works amazing. It is a dark bronzer so as you should know, you need to wash your hands directly after it will stain I find the standing on the bottom. My hands only lasted a day after washing my hands a couple times it comes off if you don’t want this effect wear gloves while applying I personally wear gloves, and then I take them off, and just do the tops of my hands, and wash off my hand with a baby white. It’s not a big deal. I love it so much it is amazing because it gives you instant colour a little bit, but it also helps TanI have noticed amazing results

This is nice. No strong scent to it which is nice. It is a bronzer, so you’ll need to wash your hands after if you don’t want them to stain

I was unsure of whether to buy this based on some reviews. Let me clarify the most popular complaints I read.1. It makes your hands brown, you need to wash them! YES, Its a bronzer, if it makes the body parts you rub it on brown, it will the body part you use to spread it around with as well, that's common sense.2. It smells funny! No, its smells almost like Citrus. It smells fine and the smell wears off shortly after you rub it on. I much prefer it to smelling like a coconut or whatever you expect.To me its the best one I've used, if you have an uneven tan, it won't be after using this for two sessions.Likely the only one I'll buy moving forward.Best bang for your buck that I've seen since all the prices went crazy as well.100% recommended.

This tanning cream works amazingly, I will repurchase it.
