I thought I’d have to replace my whole cooler until I found these replacement hinges—what a relief! They fit perfectly and brought my old Coleman cooler back to life. The durable plastic feels solid, and the 8 included mounting screws made installation quick and straightforward. It only took a few minutes with a screwdriver. Now the lid stays on securely, and the cooler is just as efficient as before. Great value and a super practical fix for damaged or broken hinges!

Lucky fishing trip cooler is going fishing again. I can afford a new cooler but I made a sandwich tray and 48 perfect size for a day party boat trip and I had many a good trip with this cooler. Hopefully it will now continue to bring home many more cod and haddock for supper and freezer.

Please update the description to include the list of 22 compatible coolers as shown on the package (see photo). Q&A has misleading information stating they are compatible on all models except Extreme which is NOT true.The description should list the 22 compatible models and a photo of the rear of the package that includes where to located the model number on the bottom of the cooler.This does NOT fit the polylite 68, model 5294A.The correct replacement hinges for a polylite 68 blue cooler is Coleman part number 3000005307 as found on coleman.comIncomplete descriptions, like this one, result in easily avoidable returns which are a huge waste of everyone's resources.My solution?Found scrap seat belt webbing and installed under broken hinges to prevent screw heads pulling through webbing.Stop feeding the beast. Sub-standard & inferior product materials at beyond premium pricing. Product is worth $2 retail. At the rate they fail, should sell them in bulk (dozen) at this price.Inspiration came from Unhiged Inc, selling ones made from fire hose material.Neither the webbing or fire hose material will fatigue crack and fail like the OEM hard plastic ones.

The hinges are sturdy and the screw holes aligned perfectly with our cooler. Our cooler is now ready for a lot more outings!
