Having problems i’m still having problems. I’m waiting for your reply.
I have a 1991 f250 9.3 Diesel. I have your TL 95 the red light on the front face of it will not come on. When I hook it up, the timing light is erratic, jumping from one spot to the other. Can’t get an accurate reading. I’ve gone to your instructions on the Internet, can’t seem to clear it up. Also, when I rev it up to To the RPM that you’re supposed to set it at the light shut off. I Bought this a couple years ago just finally getting around to using it. It’s been kept care of properly truly wish to get the timing done right any help you can give me please let me know or do I have to look into another diesel converter box thank you.

Clean the injector line well for good connection
Just clean your No 1 fuel injector line and clamp on the piezo clamp and ground wire and attach your timing light pickup to the inductive hoop and you are ready to time your Diesel engine. I like how the box has a red LED indicator light to show you the box is working, if light isn’t flashing you have to turn the timing light clamp the 180 degrees. I recommend this converter box for timing your Diesel engine, I’m very happy with it

overpriced and finicky
I tried next to the pump, I tried next to the injector, I tried in between, removed vibration clamps, I removed paint from injector line, I tried many ground points, I tried facing my timing light clamp different directions the list goes on.The lights patterns were sporadic or not at all. Only a few times did all the right combinations give me a steady indicator from the timing light and it would go haywire with RPM. I ended up going back to clocking the pump against a screw-in dial indicator which cannot be done while running. Too far outside the return window so I'm stuck with it.

Great product
Great tool to have! Finally set correct injection timing on my OM617 and 7.3 idi. The thing is almost addicting to use, I try to find excuses to use it! Highly recommended for anybody with an older diesel! And get a good timing light if you don't have one already. Used a cheap Walmart special after unboxing, didn't work, broke out the $nap on and worked just fine.

Would not buy again
Bought this awhile back and it sat on my shelf for a year or so. Went to use it on my 12v cummins and I got a very erratic signal to my timing light. After a bunch of fiddling it randomly gave me an accurate pulse. So I barred the engine back 5* and went to verify it and the converter box was dead. Zip.No way Im getting a warranty after all this time has passed.Between the difficulty getting a reading and the reliability of the unit I will not be getting another from this MFR.
