Pure gold!
I absolutely LOVE this Osmo Oil. And, I use this Extra Thin version for my first coat on my lazy susan and coaster projects. I follow it up with the thicker Osmo Oil (3 coats) and it gives me spectacular results. I've used this on hundreds of woodworking projects. Customers rave about it, too.

Best of the best
I will definitely use it again! Keeps the natural beauty of the wood. Extremely easy to use and very forgivable when over applied. I used it on a project with Wenge wood. Will definitely use it on future pieces.

Great
It's oil based so it can be tricky to apply but leaves a strong and amazing final coat

Osmo is super easy to use...just follow the instructions.
I applied Osmo to a live edge Canary wood coffee table I built and it turned out perfect. All the many colors in the wood became more defined and vibrant. I can't attest to the durability of the product.

It looks homogenous in the can but be sure to stir/mix it every time!
The first time I used this, I ignorantly opened the can which had been sitting a while, and peered into it, it looked like pretty translucent liquid, so I thought, no need to stir this... and I dipped a clean rag into it and applied it, and the finish was not very impressive. Then I realized, you NEED to stir it up, you can actually feel the lowest level of liquid is more viscous than the top. After doing that, the finish was much better and as expected. It is very thin, which is good for deeper penetration of hard woods from what I can tell. I like it. It may take several coats to get a thicker finish though, but if you want a thin coat where you can still really see and feel the wood grain, but it's still somewhat protected, this stuff is what you want.

Very high quality finish. Dried surprisingly fast. Pricy
An excellent product. But priced as such. If you want an easy to use, high quality, fast drying product and don’t mind paying extra for it, look no further. Otherwise there are cheaper products that’ll do the trick. But I would spend the money for this again!

Beautiful matte finish that lets the wood be itself
This was used on a Douglas Fir table and chair. There was some colour change as was to be expected with an oil, but otherwise let the wood be itself. I've used pure Tung Oil in the past and the reddish tones it brought out were much more noticeable than this. Feels great to the touch too - it's clear you're handling a wood table top on not something coated in a urethane. No odour as well, and easy to work with wiping the pieces down in thin coats. It brought out the best features of the grain and looks beautiful in the sun. Will happily use this again on the next project.
